Tour description
Ronda is one of Spain’s most spectacularly situated cities, perched precariously atop cliffs and split in two by a deep gorge dramatically spanned by the famous Puente Nuevo. Rich in both Moorish and Spanish heritage and the birthplace of modern bullfighting, this place leaves a lasting impression. On this walking tour, a local guide will reveal the city’s dramatic stories and rich history.
You will cross the magnificent New Bridge, stroll through the old Moorish quarter, and admire breathtaking views down into the gorge. Throughout the journey, you will hear about the Moors, bands of highwaymen, and the tradition of bullfighting. Both spectacular and steeped in history, Ronda is a wonderful city to explore on foot.
