Sibiu is one of the most beautiful and best-preserved Saxon cities in Transylvania, renowned for its magnificent squares, pastel-colored houses with “eyes” in their roofs, and rich German heritage. Once a European Capital of Culture, the city exudes elegance and an old-world atmosphere. On this walking tour, a local guide will introduce you to the city’s history and charm.
You will stroll through the interconnected Grand Square and Small Square, cross the famous Bridge of Lies, and explore the Old Town with its guild towers and cobblestone streets. Along the way, you will hear stories about the Saxon settlers, the guilds, and the history of Transylvania. Elegant and steeped in history, Sibiu is a wonderful city to explore on foot.

Stop 4 – Small Square & Bridge of Lies: The famous iron bridge and its legends.
Stop 5 – Roofs with 'Eyes': Sibiu's watchful dormer windows.
Stop 6 – Ancient Walls & Guild Towers: The medieval fortifications.
Stop 7 – Old Town Viewpoint: We end amidst atmospheric historic streets, along with recommendations for your stay.
