Tangier is one of Morocco's most historic cities, a legendary trading port on the Strait of Gibraltar where Africa faces Europe and once a gathering place for writers, artists, and spies. The kasbah fortress and old medina stretch toward the sea like a historical labyrinth. On this walking tour, a local guide will reveal the city's hidden alleys and legendary tales.
You will start at the Grand Socco square, weave through the medina up to the kasbah, and take in breathtaking views across the strait towards Spain. Along the way, you will hear about the International Zone era, merchants, and artists. Steeped in legend and utterly captivating, Tangier is a wonderful city to explore on foot.
