Detailed itinerary
HANOI – RUBY TOURIST AREA – THAC BA LAKE YEN BAI (Lunch, Dinner)
06:00 Our vehicle and tour guide arrive at the meeting point; the tour guide and driver assist you with luggage and boarding the vehicle.
06:30 Depart for Yen Bai.
09:30 Arrive at Thac Ba Lake. You will visit and offer incense at Thac Ba Mother Goddess Temple, situated on Hoang Thi Mountain, leaning against the mountain and overlooking the Chay River towards the east-northeast. Thac Ba Mother Goddess Temple has long been renowned as a sacred place.
11:00 Have lunch at a restaurant.
12:15 Board the vehicle to transfer to Paradise pier.
12:30 Board the boat to transfer to Paradise Island.
13:25 Arrive at the island and check in to the community lodge to rest.
Afternoon: Free time to explore the island and participate in water sports such as kayaking, SUP paddling, and water biking (expenses not included in the tour price).
18:00 Have dinner at the restaurant.
19:30 - 21:30 Join the campfire and a special cultural performance exchange program.

09:30 Board the boat to tour Thac Ba Lake, one of the largest lakes in Vietnam, often referred to as the "Ha Long Bay on the Mountain" of the Northwest. The lake was formed during the construction of the Thac Ba Hydropower Plant. Spanning nearly 20,000 hectares, it comprises over 1,300 green islands of various sizes, along with a beautiful cave system hidden deep within the limestone mountain ranges. Thac Ba Lake was recognized as a National Historical and Scenic Site in September 1996.
You will stop to visit the Thac Ba Hydropower Plant. Inaugurated on October 5, 1971, this historic landmark embodies the spirit of solidarity in overcoming adversity and the determination to conquer nature, transforming natural potential into precious electricity to serve the nation's industrialization and modernization.
The Thac Ba Hydropower Plant was built during an extraordinary period when the war in Vietnam was still fierce and the North's economy faced numerous hardships. It was the first hydropower plant constructed in the socialist North with scientific and technical assistance from the Soviet Union.
11:00 Board the boat to leave the Thac Ba Hydropower Plant and head back to the mainland.
11:30 The boat docks; a vehicle will pick you up and transfer you to the restaurant.
