Detailed itinerary
NA HANG ECO-TOURISM AREA – MO WATERFALL (MEALS: BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)
05:30 Our vehicle and tour guide pick up the group at the meeting point, then depart for the 2-day, 1-night Na Hang tour.
10:30 The group arrives in Na Hang Town, where the tour guide takes everyone to a restaurant for lunch.
12:00 Check in at the hotel. Rest.
13:00 The group departs for Khau Trang Cultural Village in Hong Thai Commune (Na Hang – Tuyen Quang), home to the Dao Tien ethnic community. Upon arrival, you can immerse yourself in the pure white of pear blossoms blending with the white traditional costumes, creating a dreamy and enchanting scene.
15:00 The group arrives at Na Hang Eco-tourism Area. Visit Pa Ban Waterfall, also known as Mo Waterfall, and the hydropower plant and reservoir; listen to an introduction to the plant’s history, operations, achievements, and more. You are free to admire the scenery, take photos, and cool off in the magnificent waters amid the tranquil mountain and forest landscape. (Please bring swimwear for Mo Waterfall.)
Evening: Enjoy dinner at Na Hang Eco-tourism Area. If you wish, you can participate in a campfire and ethnic cultural performance, savor fragrant local liquor, and sing, dance, and have fun at the eco-tourism area (additional cost).

TUYÊN QUANG HYDROPOWER RESERVOIR – HANOI (MEALS: BREAKFAST/LUNCH)
06:15 You can get up early to enjoy the fresh mountain air and attend a highland market.
06:45 You can have breakfast on your own or ask the tour guide to prepare it (a special local breakfast is a delicious pork offal dish, including grilled offal, steamed offal, blood pudding, pork offal porridge, rib noodle soup, and more, prepared from “rocket pig” pork).
07:15 You check out of the hotel. The car takes you to the tourist boat pier of the Na Hang Ecotourism Area Management Board, where you board a boat to explore the Tuyên Quang hydropower reservoir. This is where two romantic rivers, the Gâm River and Năng River, converge, surrounded by 99 undulating, successive mountains.
Along the reservoir sightseeing route, you will admire Pác Tạ Mountain; the Fairy and Guest rock cliffs; the area of 99 mountains; Twin Mountain and Đổ Mountain; and, in particular, the site known as “inland Ha Long Bay amid the wilderness,” famously Cọc Vài Phạ, meaning the stake used to tether the heavenly buffalo. Along the route, you will visit the sacred Pác Tạ Temple and Pác Vãng Temple, which are revered by local people.
Noon: The group has lunch on the boat. You will visit Khuổi Nhi Waterfall and Nậm Me Waterfall, among the most majestic and beautiful waterfalls in the Na Hang Ecotourism Area. Here, you can immerse yourself in the primeval forest, swim beneath the waterfall, take photos, fish, and have fish nibble your feet (a relaxing foot massage practiced by local people). You can also visit a sturgeon farm, home to one of the most famous cold-water fish species. Khuổi Nhi Waterfall features a natural pool with clear, cool blue water that attracts every visitor.
Here, you will also enjoy lunch on the boat featuring river specialties such as catfish, loach, goby, hemibagrus, fried fish, and soft-shelled turtle. Alternatively, you can enjoy a meal prepared with your own hands, such as grilled fish, chicken, and “rocket pig” pork marinated with forest dổi seeds. It will be a memorable experience.
You will visit Phia Vài Cave (an ancient Vietnamese cave) and trek through the forest to explore Song Long Cave with its beautiful stalactites.
16:00 The boat returns to the pier (you can buy local specialties such as leaf-fermented corn liquor, sour pork, dried buffalo meat, Tày ethnic dry noodles, river fish, and wild honey). You board the vehicle and bid farewell to the Na Hang Ecotourism Area, concluding the 2-day, 1-night Na Hang, Tuyên Quang tour.
