Tour description
The limestone cliffs around Vang Vieng are among the most famous sport-climbing destinations in Laos, with dozens of bolted routes graded from easy to difficult.
In the morning, you will learn basic techniques, how to tie knots, belay, and climb easy routes under the trainer’s supervision. Experienced climbers can try more challenging routes. After lunch, you will move on to a zipline area with multiple cable lines crossing the forest canopy, suspension bridges, and valleys, offering views of the limestone mountains from above.
At the end of the day, relax at the Blue Lagoon before returning to town. All safety equipment is inspected daily.

Detailed itinerary
Morning (08:30): The guide picks you up at your hotel and takes you to the climbing area (approximately 20 minutes).
09:00: Technical and safety briefing, followed by climbing routes suitable for your level (approximately 3 hours).
Noon (12:15): Lunch.
Afternoon (13:30): Zipline through the forest and valley (approximately 1 hour 30 minutes).
15:15: Swim in Blue Lagoon.
16:15: Return to the hotel. 16:30: Tour ends.

Free cancellation with a 100% refund when notified at least 24 hours before departure. Cancellations made within 24 hours of departure are non-refundable. In the event of bad weather or attraction closures required by the authorities, we can help reschedule the tour or provide a full refund.

The standard tour is led by an English-speaking local guide; Vietnamese-, French-, Chinese-, and Thai-speaking guides can be requested (please indicate this when booking, subject to guide availability).
The price applies per guest and is based on a private tour for groups of 2 or more guests. Larger groups receive better rates; please contact us.
Visas: international visitors need a Laos visa (apply for an e-visa online before the trip or obtain a visa at international airports and international border crossings); ASEAN citizens are exempt from visas according to regulations. Passports must be valid for at least 6 months.
Guests aged 12 and over, subject to the weight requirements of the zipline area. Not suitable for pregnant women or people with cardiovascular conditions or spinal injuries. During the rainy season, climbing may be temporarily suspended when the cliffs are wet.
