Detailed itinerary

00 The vehicle and tour guide will pick you up at the meeting point to begin the 1-day Ba Vang Pagoda - Yen Tu tour. On the way, stop for a rest and enjoy breakfast at your own expense in Hai Duong.

30 Arrive at Ba Vang Pagoda. Visit and attend prayers at the Grand Main Hall (4,500 m²), the Bell Tower (112 m²), the Drum Tower (112 m²), the Arhat Corridor (200 m²), the Museum (700 m²), the Library (700 m²), the Meditation Hall (960 m²), the Stone Gate, the Middle Triple Gate, and the Inner Triple Gate.

00 After visiting and offering incense at Ba Vang Pagoda, board the vehicle to travel to Yen Tu and have lunch at a local restaurant in Yen Tu.

30 The tour guide will take you by cable car to visit the King-Monk Stupa and Hoa Yen Pagoda. Hoa Yen Pagoda is situated on Yen Tu Mountain at an altitude of 516 m.

30 Continue your Yen Tu journey by cable car up to Dong Pagoda, with the next stop at King-Monk Tran Nhan Tong Square, where the 138-ton bronze statue of the King-Monk inaugurated on December 3, 2013 is located. Offer incense before the statue of the King-Monk and relax at the square while taking in the magnificent landscape of the Yen Tu mountains and forests. Continue up to Dong Pagoda, also known as Thien Truc Pagoda. Dong Pagoda sits on the peak of Yen Tu Mountain at an altitude of 1,068 m. In 2007, Dong Pagoda was officially recognized as the largest bronze pagoda in Vietnam.

30 After offering incense, begin your journey back. On the way down the mountain, you can visit and offer incense at Mot Mai Pagoda (One-Roof Pagoda) — the pagoda with the most unique architecture in the Yen Tu area (along with Dong Pagoda), rich in historical value — or visit Giai Oan Stream, where royal concubines and court maidens of the past drowned themselves to demonstrate their loyalty to the King when he entered Yen Tu to pursue monastic life (time permitting).

30 The vehicle and tour guide pick you up for the return trip to Hanoi. On the way back, stop for a break and buy Hai Duong specialties, such as gai cakes and mung bean cakes, as gifts for friends and family.

30 Arrive in Hanoi, bid farewell to the group, and conclude the 1-day Yen Tu - Ba Vang Pagoda tour.
