Detailed itinerary
06:00 Our vehicle and tour guide will pick you up at the meeting point and depart for Nam Dinh. You will have a rest and breakfast along the way (at your own expense).
09:00 Arrive in Nam Dinh. The tour guide will take the group to visit and worship at Pho Minh Pagoda and Tran Temple. Tran Temple comprises three main architectural structures: Thien Truong Temple (also known as the Upper Temple), Co Trach Temple (also known as the Lower Temple), and Trung Hoa Temple. Before entering the temple, visitors must pass through a five-gate entrance. The gate bears the Chinese characters Chinh Nam Mon (the main southern gate) and Tran Mieu (the shrine dedicated to the Tran Dynasty). Beyond the gate is a rectangular pond. Directly behind the pond is the Thien Truong Temple complex. Trung Hoa Temple is to the west of Thien Truong Temple, while Co Trach Temple is to the east. You may offer incense and take photos here as souvenirs.
Noon: Have lunch at a restaurant in Nam Dinh City.
13:30 The group visits Co Le Pagoda, a complex of Buddhist architecture and Vietnamese religious beliefs. The pagoda houses Dai Hong Chung, the largest bell in Vietnam, which was cast in 1936 at the direction of Most Venerable Thich The Long. You may offer incense and pray for blessings and prosperity at the pagoda. The journey continues as the vehicle takes the group to visit and worship at Phu Day, dedicated to the Goddess Lieu Hanh.
16:00 You board the vehicle and return to Hanoi.
19:00 Arrive back at the original meeting point. End of the one-day Nam Dinh tour.
