Ba Den Mountain, standing majestically amid the plains on the outskirts of Tay Ninh, is known as the “roof of Southern Vietnam.” It is a place where the spiritual energy of heaven and earth converges, as well as a destination where many Southern Buddhists entrust their faith.
Part of the cultural and historical relic complex of the same name, Ba Den Mountain (also known as Ba Dinh Mountain, Mot Mountain, or Dien Ba Mountain) stands 986 meters above sea level, making it the highest mountain in the southeastern region of Vietnam. Visitors have also bestowed upon it the beautiful name “The First Heavenly Mountain.” Seen from afar, Ba Den Mountain appears and disappears amid billowing white clouds, “adorned” with a complex of temples, pagodas, and shrines stretching from the foot to the summit. It truly lives up to its reputation as an outstanding cultural and religious symbol of Tay Ninh Province. In recent years, tourism to Ba Den Mountain has continued to grow, especially during the early days of the Lunar New Year. 08:30 The vehicle will take you to Ba Den Mountain Tourist Area, rising to 986 meters amid majestic, pristine natural scenery. Known as the “roof of the Southern region,” it is also home to an ancient spiritual architectural complex. The mountain is famous for the many sacred legends about Lady Ba, which your tour guide will share with you.
Today, Ba Den Mountain has taken on a new appearance after being recognized by Guinness World Records as having the “world’s largest cable car station.” The station is designed primarily with sandstone, accented by colorful glass pieces that create multicolored three-dimensional artworks. Here, you can climb the stairs to explore Ba Den Mountain and visit Ba Temple, Thanh Long Cave, Huyen Khong Cave, Gio Cave, and the ancient tower.

As a result, the religion has created unique architecture that brings together many different styles, creating an extremely magnificent and solemn structure. Perhaps for this reason, the site always attracts large numbers of visitors from across the country.

Around 1904, Venerable Thich Tri Luong began construction on elevated ground surrounded by abundant ken vines, using simple materials such as bamboo and reed. This is where the name Go Ken Pagoda originated.
