Things to note when renting a car in Ninh Binh
- Tam Coc's rice harvest season, from around late May to early June, is very busy, so book your vehicle early.
- For a day tour, depart from Hanoi at 7 a.m. to take the Trang An boat ride before the crowds arrive.
- Ninh Binh can be combined with Pu Luong or Ha Long on a 2–3-day trip.
