Detailed itinerary
07:00 – 07:30: The vehicle and tour guide pick you up at the meeting point and depart for Ninh Binh. En route, you will take a 20-minute break.
10:30: Arrive in Ninh Binh. Visit Hoa Lu Ancient Capital (the capital of Vietnam in the 10th century) and learn about the history of the feudal dynasties that ruled Vietnam.
The temple dedicated to King Dinh Tien Hoang is located in the central area of Hoa Lu Ancient Capital and features the “inner Cong, outer Quoc” architectural style, one of Vietnam’s most famous and distinctive architectural styles. The temple’s main sanctuary consists of three sections: the Front Ceremonial Hall, Incense Burning Hall, and Main Sanctuary. In the Dragon Court, directly in front of the central section of the Front Ceremonial Hall and before the outer gate, stands a solid greenstone dragon throne, which has been recognized as a National Treasure.
In contrast to the grandeur of King Dinh Tien Hoang’s temple, the temple dedicated to King Le Dai Hanh offers a more intimate and mystical beauty. The small temple comprises three main sections: the Front Ceremonial Hall, Incense Burning Hall, and Main Sanctuary, decorated with intricately carved motifs and red lacquer with gilded details. The interior resembles a small art museum, where visitors can admire the unique beauty of ancient architecture and sculpture.
After the capital was moved to Thang Long, Hoa Lu Ancient Capital took on a new appearance under the name Truong Yen. Visiting this land feels like stepping into an ancient world that still preserves traces of a glorious era. With its peaceful and tranquil beauty, Truong Yen is an ideal destination for those wishing to reconnect with their roots and explore historical and cultural values.
Experience the countryside scenery by bicycle. You can stop along the way to take beautiful photos.
12:00: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant featuring specialties such as goat meat and crispy rice.
13:00: The tour guide will take you to the Tam Coc boat pier.
Board a boat to explore the caves, passing through three caves: Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba. Tam Coc boasts uniquely stunning scenery and is often compared to the beauty of Ha Long Bay. During the one-and-a-half-hour boat ride with a local boat rower, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the wonderful beauty of this destination.
16:30: Board the vehicle and return to Hanoi.
19:00 – 19:30: Arrive in Hanoi, concluding the tour program. Thank you, and we look forward to seeing you again!
