Detailed itinerary
HANOI – FULL-DAY CITY TOUR
08:00–08:30 The vehicle and tour guide pick you up at the meeting point within Hanoi’s Old Quarter to begin your one-day Hanoi sightseeing journey. The first stop on the itinerary is the Ho Chi Minh Complex, including the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum – the final resting place of the nation’s beloved father, and Uncle Ho’s Stilt House – where Ho Chi Minh lived and worked from 1958 to 1969.
After that, visit the Ho Chi Minh Museum, where you can learn more about Uncle Ho’s life and great career, and visit the famous One Pillar Pagoda. Continuing the tour, we travel to Tran Quoc Pagoda – a Buddhist site and national heritage monument located on the shore of West Lake.
12:00 Have lunch at a restaurant in the Old Quarter.
The group chooses one of two options:
- Option 1: Bat Trang Ceramic Village (Monday – Wednesday – Friday)
- Option 2: Visit the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology (Tuesday – Thursday – Saturday and Sunday)
15:30: The vehicle and tour guide take you to the Temple of Literature – Quốc Tử Giám, considered Vietnam’s first university. This ancient architectural complex was built on a large scale beginning in October 1073 and has survived to the present day. The Temple of Literature was built to worship Confucius, the founder of Confucianism, and Chu Van An – the rector of Quốc Tử Giám – representing the high moral philosophy and educational ethics of Vietnam.
The vehicle takes you back to legendary Hoan Kiem Lake to visit Ngoc Son Temple, dedicated to Van Xuong and Tran Hung Dao – a renowned general in Vietnamese and world history. You can learn about Vietnamese and French architecture around the lake.
16:00 The vehicle takes you back to your hotel – the original pickup point. End of the exciting one-day Hanoi sightseeing journey.

+ Cancellation at least 07 days before departure: no charge
+ Cancellation from 05 days before departure: 50% of the tour value.
+ Cancellation 03 days before departure: 100% of the tour value.

- The itinerary and sightseeing destinations may be changed to suit the actual conditions of the trip while still ensuring all destinations specified in the itinerary are included.
- Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed every Monday and Friday, so the group will only visit the outside area and will not enter to pay respects to Uncle Ho's embalmed remains. The other sightseeing destinations remain unchanged.
