Detailed itinerary
06:00 Our vehicle and tour guide will pick you up at the meeting point in central Hanoi and depart for Tây Yên Tử (Bắc Giang). Breakfast will be served along the way (at your own expense).
08:30 Continue your journey to Vĩnh Nghiêm Pagoda, the birthplace of the Trúc Lâm Zen Buddhist sect’s three patriarchs in Vietnam. The pagoda preserves an ancient collection of wooden printing blocks occupying up to 10 rooms. These printing blocks date back 700 years and form an extremely valuable book repository, known in the past as the wooden library. After visiting and paying respects at Vĩnh Nghiêm Pagoda, you will board the vehicle and depart for the Tây Yên Tử spiritual and ecological tourism area.
11:00 The group will have lunch at a restaurant.
14:00 After lunch, begin your visit to the Tây Yên Tử spiritual and ecological tourism area, including Hạ Pagoda, Trung Pagoda, Thượng Pagoda, and Đồng Pagoda. You will travel by cable car from Hạ Temple to Thượng Temple, covering a total cable-car distance of 2.1 km.
Afterward, continue to Đồng Pagoda, also known as Thiên Trúc Pagoda. Đồng Pagoda is located on the summit of Yên Tử Mountain at an altitude of 1,068 m. In 2007, Đồng Pagoda was recognized as the largest bronze pagoda in Vietnam.
