Tour description
A mountain biking journey through the untouched regions of northern Vietnam, home to the Tay, Red Dao, H'mong, and Nung ethnic groups. You begin in Thanh Phu Valley, stay at a homestay in Ban Ho village, and cycle through the villages of Su Pan, Ta Van, and Lao Chai at an altitude of over 1,000 meters.
Next are Bac Ha, Xin Man, the terraced rice fields of Hoang Su Phi, Ha Giang City, Bao Lac, Nguyen Binh, and Ba Be Lake—the largest natural freshwater lake in Vietnam—before returning to Hanoi.

Detailed itinerary
Welcome dinner at a local restaurant, tour leader introduces the itinerary.
7:00 Transfer to Xuan Giao Market, cycle through Thanh Phu village of the Tay and Red Dao people, following the river and valley to Ban Ho village.
A day of mountain biking through Su Pan, Ta Van, Lao Chai, stopping for tea at a local home.
Descend the mountain, cycle through Bao Thang and Coc Ly to the Bac Ha plateau.
Cycle through the high mountains and terraced rice fields to Hoang Su Phi.
Cycling and transfer back to Ha Giang City.
Cross the rocky mountains, follow the Gam River to Bao Lac.
Cycle through Cao Bang to Ba Be Lake, stay at a lakeside village.
Take a boat trip on Ba Be Lake, cycle to Cho Ra, and return to Hanoi.
Breakfast, free time until airport transfer.

Cancellation policy
Cancellations at least 30 days prior: 100% deposit refund. Cancellations between 15 and 29 days prior: 50% refund. Cancellations within 14 days before departure: non-refundable. In cases of natural disasters, storms, floods, or landslides rendering routes unsafe, the itinerary will be adjusted or rescheduled.
Other notes
The tour is suitable for participants aged 18 and older who are in good physical condition and experienced in long-distance cycling; a support vehicle follows along so you can rest at any time. Small group sizes from 2 guests, with a maximum of 14–15 guests. Discounts for groups of more than 5 people. Total distance is approximately 487 km. Single room supplement: 325 USD; bicycle rental: 120 USD.
