Tour description

A 12-day grand circuit around Cambodia, combining heritage, nature and rural life – designed for travelers with time who want to explore beyond the familiar Phnom Penh – Siem Reap route.

You begin in Phnom Penh with the Royal Palace, National Museum and historic sites, then travel along the Mekong River through Kampong Cham to Kratie to see Irrawaddy dolphins. Next come two cool days in the Mondulkiri highlands, including an elephant conservation project based on observation (no elephant riding) and Bou Sra Waterfall. Heading west, you visit the pre-Angkorian temple complex of Sambor Prei Kuk before spending four days in Siem Reap: Angkor Wat, Bayon, Ta Prohm, Banteay Srei, Phnom Kulen, Beng Mealea and the floating villages of Tonlé Sap. The journey ends in Battambang with a bamboo train ride, Wat Banan Temple and the bat colony at Phnom Sampeau.

This is a fully private tour with an air-conditioned vehicle, local guide and selected 3-star hotels (eco-lodge in Mondulkiri). The itinerary can be adjusted to suit your preferences.
