Tour description
This program is designed for travelers with time who want to understand Cambodia beyond the familiar photos of Angkor Wat. The route follows an arc around Tonle Sap Lake, passing through the capital and rural provinces before ending in the heritage region of Siem Reap.
You will visit the Royal Palace, the National Museum, and historical memorial sites in Phnom Penh; visit Andong Russey pottery village and take a boat through the floating fishing village in Kampong Chhnang; and experience the bamboo train, Wat Banan, and the bat caves in Battambang. The final four days in Siem Reap are dedicated to sunrise at Angkor Wat, Bayon, Ta Prohm, the pink temple of Banteay Srei, the ancient capital of Koh Ker, the jungle temple of Beng Mealea, and the stilt-house village of Kompong Phluk.
The entire journey is a private tour with an air-conditioned vehicle, a local guide, and carefully selected 3-star hotels. The itinerary can be adjusted according to the group's preferences and pace.
