Detailed itinerary
HO CHI MINH CITY/HANOI – CHU LAI – LY SON
Morning: Guests independently travel from home to Tan Son Nhat/Noi Bai Airport to complete departure procedures for Chu Lai. Upon arrival at Chu Lai Airport, our vehicle and tour guide will pick you up and take you to Sa Ky Port to complete procedures for traveling to Ly Son – an island known as Paradise in the middle of the sea. Board the high-speed boat departing for Ly Son Island at (10:30–11:30), enjoy views of flying fish, and take commemorative photos from the boat’s deck.
Upon arrival in Ly Son, the tour guide will welcome you and take you to a restaurant for lunch, after which you will check in and rest.
14:00 The group visits the exhibition house of the Hoang Sa Flotilla and Bac Hai Fleet, featuring historical evidence of sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos. Learn about the lives and journeys of the Heroic Soldiers in the past and the significance of the Hoang Sa Soldiers’ Feast and Memorial Ceremony.
14:30 The group continues exploring the national-level historical and scenic site of Hang Pagoda, learning about the history and spiritual cultural significance of the pagoda to the island’s residents. Guests may independently enjoy swimming and viewing coral here.
15:00 A bougainvillea tree more than 50 years old
15:30 The group visits Hang Cau scenic site, featuring towering, arched cliffs with many mysterious geological patterns formed by geological processes and volcanic activity. This place has a long, wide white-sand beach and crystal-clear blue seawater, making it an ideal recreational destination. Guests will learn more about the importance of this location to fishermen during the low-water season.
16:00 The group conquers Thoi Loi Peak, one of the five largest volcanoes on Ly Son Island, which ceased activity millions of years ago. The volcano has a distinctive shape. At the same time, visit the Flagpole, a symbol of sovereignty over Ly Son’s sea and islands.

Morning: The group has breakfast, then takes a speedboat to Small Island (8:00 a.m. departure), which takes 8 minutes. Upon arrival, you will visit:
- Freshwater treatment plant
- Ancient rock beach
- Hon Dun – Mui Tau
- Mural village
- Love Bridge – an ideal place for couples to take photos and express their affection.
- Tien Beach – a beach with crystal-clear water, allowing you to see the seabed clearly. It will be even more enjoyable to take a basket boat and go snorkeling to admire the coral reefs (snorkeling fee at your own expense).
The group is free to swim, take photos, and explore the pristine beauty of Small Island.
11:00 a.m. Return by speedboat to Big Island, have lunch, and rest.
Afternoon, 3:30 p.m. – Continue visiting Big Island:
3:40 p.m. Visit the Quan Am Observatory – Duc Pagoda (Dinh Liem Tu), situated halfway up the sheer cliffs of Gieng Tien Mountain, and learn about the legend and history of the pagoda’s formation. At the same time, conquer Gieng Tien volcano and listen to the story of Ban Co Tien. Explore Hon Dun and learn how Ly Son fishermen navigate at sea. From the mountaintop, admire the garlic and onion fields, the sea, and the sound of waves murmuring below, while learning more about the garlic and onion farming experience of farmers on Ly Son Island.
4:30 p.m. Explore To Vo Gate (Sun Gate), an arched formation created from volcanic lava millions of years ago. This is an ideal place to capture impressive sunset photos with its unique shape, a natural creation that has never been influenced by humans.
5:30 p.m. Dinner (at your own expense – enjoy Ly Son seafood). The tour guide will take you to explore Ly Son at night, introduce you to seafood and local specialties from the island region, and share insights into the islanders’ nightlife. Overnight in Ly Son.
Evening: The group has dinner and is free to explore Ly Son’s coastline at night. ATTEND THE GALADINER PARTY AT THE RESTAURANT
