Tour description
This program is for those who want to explore Cambodia by bicycle: each day, cycle approximately 35–70 km on village roads, trails, and quiet secondary roads; busy or uninteresting national highway sections will be covered by the support vehicle. The total cycling distance is approximately 230 km.
On the first day, cycle around the Angkor complex past temples and forest trails. Next, ride through the countryside of Siem Reap and Kampong Thom, crossing the 12th-century Kampong Kdei stone bridge, followed by a day among the 7th-century brick towers of Sambor Prei Kuk (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). In Kampong Cham, visit Wat Nokor and cycle on Koh Paen Island in the Mekong River. On the final day, cycle through the river islands and enter central Phnom Penh by ferry.
Quality mountain bikes, helmets, a support vehicle carrying luggage, water, and fruit accompany the group throughout the journey. A cycling guide rides with the group.
