Tour description
Traveling with young children and grandparents requires a different itinerary: less long-distance travel, more experiential activities, time for afternoon naps, and hotels with swimming pools. This 6-day program is designed precisely with that in mind.
In Phnom Penh, the whole family visits the Royal Palace and the Phnom Tamao Wildlife Rescue Center, where children can meet rescued bears, elephants, and gibbons. In Kep, the family swims in the sea, takes a boat to Rabbit Island, and enjoys crab at the crab market. The final leg is in Siem Reap, with Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm (a favorite with children because it resembles an adventure film), a countryside ox-cart ride, a Khmer cooking class, and a Phare circus performance.
The Kep–Siem Reap leg is traveled by domestic flight or private vehicle, depending on your choice; all road journeys include rest stops. Experienced guides lead family groups.
