Detailed itinerary
Morning:
08:30 Our vehicle and guide will pick you up at your hotel or meeting point in Da Nang or Hoi An. Depart for the Bay Mau Coconut Forest Eco-Tourism Area, just 5 km from Hoi An Ancient Town (at the end of the tour, you can combine it with a visit to Hoi An Ancient Town without worrying about traveling too far).
09:00 Arrive at the Coconut Forest Tourism Area. You will discover a miniature version of Southern Vietnam in the heart of Hoi An Ancient Town.
- You will be guided onto a basket boat (2 adults per boat), a characteristic means of transport in the tourism area. Local fishermen will take you deep into the water forest, or you can experience paddling the basket boat yourself under their guidance.
- Enjoy performances by local fishermen, including spectacular basket-boat shaking and basket-boat acrobatics.
- Listen to stories about the history of the wars during the two resistance campaigns against the United States and France told by the people of Thong Van Lang.
- Receive gifts from local fishermen, such as indigenous hats, necklaces, and bracelets made from the distinctive coconut leaves of this area.
- Participate in activities such as crab fishing and traditional net casting at the local craft village.
Noon: Rest, relax, and have lunch
12:00 The group returns to the restaurant in the eco-tourism area for a 12-course lunch, with a private table provided for each group, even groups of only one person.
- Participate in folk games and team-building activities with gifts, such as pot smashing, water mat sliding, and couples’ balloon popping. (This service is only available for group tours.)
- You can also participate in activities such as cycling across a bamboo bridge, basket-boat shaking competitions, and suspension bridges.
