Detailed itinerary
HO CHI MINH CITY – CẦN THƠ – MỸ KHÁNH TOURIST VILLAGE – TRÚC LÂM PHƯƠNG NAM ZEN MONASTERY
Our vehicle and tour guide pick up guests at the meeting point and depart for Cần Thơ.
Upon arrival in Mỹ Tho, the group stops to enjoy the local specialty, Mỹ Tho rice noodles. Continuing the journey, the group passes over Mỹ Thuận Bridge and admires the beauty of the first cable-stayed bridge in Vietnam spanning the Tiền River and connecting Tiền Giang and Vĩnh Long provinces.
Upon arrival in Cần Thơ, the group has lunch at a restaurant in Mỹ Khánh Tourist Village. Then explore and relax there.
At Mỹ Khánh Tourist Village, guests can visit ancient houses more than 100 years old that retain the architectural style of traditional Southern Vietnamese homes.
Visit fruit orchards laden with sweet fruit (depending on the season). Listen to the melodies of Đờn ca tài tử, a renowned art form recognized by UNESCO.
In addition, guests can participate in other activities such as crocodile fishing, rowing, pedal boating, balancing bridge walking, cycling across monkey bridges, fish massage, and catching fish in a pond (at their own expense).
Guests visit Trúc Lâm Phương Nam Zen Monastery—a temple belonging to the Trúc Lâm Yên Tử school, so most of its structures feature the distinctive traditional Vietnamese architecture of the Lý–Trần period. This is a particularly notable characteristic of the architecture of Zen monasteries in Vietnam.

19:00 Guests have dinner aboard the Ninh Kiều cruise. Then freely explore Cần Thơ at night, including the Love Bridge and Tây Đô Night Market.

CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET – BINH THUY ANCIENT HOUSE – AN GIANG – BA CHUA XU TEMPLE
06:00 Guests have breakfast at the hotel. Then travel by boat to visit Cái Răng Floating Market—one of the largest floating markets in the Mekong Delta—and learn about the distinctive lifestyle of river communities.
Explore a traditional rice noodle workshop featuring the unique rice noodle pizza. This distinctive dish combines crispy fried rice noodles with various toppings such as peanuts or sesame, and may also include fried eggs, boiled shrimp, onions, garlic, and more.
Conclude the “floating on the river” experience. The group continues to visit Bình Thủy Ancient House—one of the few ancient houses still intact today, built in the 1870s and owned by the Dương family.
