Detailed itinerary
SAIGON - MY THO - CAN THO
06:00 AM, our vehicle and tour guide will pick you up at the meeting point to depart for Tien Giang (the exact location will be confirmed in advance) to begin your exciting journey of discovery.
- Kick off your day with a hearty breakfast at Mekong Rest Stop. From the specialty My Tho noodle soup to broken rice, thick noodle soup, sunny-side-up eggs with bread, and a variety of beverages such as coffee, soft drinks, etc., there is sure to be something to satisfy every taste.
10:00 From the April 30th Pier, board a motorboat to explore the Tien River. Rach Mieu Bridge, one of the three largest cable-stayed bridges in the Mekong Delta, will appear before your eyes. You will also have the opportunity to admire the beauty of the four mythical islet islets: Dragon, Unicorn, Tortoise, and Phoenix (Long, Lan, Quy, Phung).
- The group arrives at Lan Islet (Unicorn Islet) to visit fruit orchards, enjoy fresh seasonal fruits, listen to and interact with Southern amateur music (đờn ca tài tử), sip honey tea while learning about beekeeping, and take souvenir photos with reticulated pythons.
- Arrive at Phung Islet (Phoenix Islet), where you will visit a coconut candy workshop, row a sampan through canal networks, and take a horse-drawn carriage ride around the village.
- Participate in the "Ditching the canal to catch fish" activity organized into team competitions, then savor the fruits of your labor with grilled fish rolled in rice paper.
11:30 Have lunch, savor the specialty deep-fried giant gourami (cá tai tượng chiên xù), and enjoy some free time to relax.
13:00 Take a boat back to the April 30th Pier and depart for Can Tho.
16:00 Arrive in Can Tho, check in to your hotel, and relax at your leisure.
18:30 Savor Western Vietnamese specialties while listening to the melodious sounds of đờn ca tài tử and admiring the glittering beauty of the Hau River at night.
Evening: Free time to stroll around Tay Ho night walking street.
