HANOI - CAO BANG (OVERNIGHT ON THE BUS)
19:30 Please arrive at My Dinh Bus Station or Gia Lam Bus Station to complete boarding procedures for the sleeper bus departing for Cao Bang.
(Please pay close attention to the means of transportation from Hanoi to Cao Bang City and from Cao Bang City back to Hanoi due to the specific characteristics of each locality.)
19:30 Please arrive at My Dinh Bus Station or Gia Lam Bus Station to complete boarding procedures for the sleeper bus departing for Cao Bang.

CAO BANG – NGUOM NGAO CAVE – BAN GIOC WATERFALL – CAO BANG (BREAKFAST / LUNCH / DINNER)
05:00 Arrive in Cao Bang. The vehicle will take you to the hotel where the group will stay overnight to leave your luggage at reception, freshen up, and rest.
06:00 The vehicle and tour guide will pick you up for breakfast. After breakfast, the group will begin the journey to explore Non Nuoc Cao Bang UNESCO Global Geopark. This national geopark covers an area of more than 3,275 km² in Cao Bang Province, in the northernmost region of Vietnam. It includes Ha Quang, Trung Khanh, Ha Lang, Quang Hoa, and parts of Hoa An, Nguyen Binh, and Thach An districts. The geopark preserves evidence of the Earth’s 500-million-year history. Fossils, marine sediments, volcanic rocks, minerals, and especially limestone landscapes provide remarkable evidence of the Earth’s evolution and transformation. On April 12, 2018, the park was officially recognized by UNESCO as a Global Geopark, becoming the second UNESCO Global Geopark in Vietnam after Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark in Ha Giang. Along the way, admire the poetic and enchanting beauty of Ma Phuc Pass.
09:00 Arrive at Ban Gioc. Visit and take photos at:
- Nguom Ngao Cave (Tiger Cave), one of the most beautiful caves in northern Vietnam. The cave is located in Gun Village, Dam Thuy Commune, Trung Khanh District, Cao Bang Province, inside a mountain, 5 km from Ban Gioc Waterfall. According to a 1995 survey by the British Royal Society for the Protection of Nature, the cave has a total length of 2,144 meters and three main entrances: Nguom Ngao, Nguom Lom, and Ban Thuon. Inside the cave are numerous stalactites and stalagmites in a wide variety of shapes.
- Ban Gioc Waterfall. The waterfall is 53 meters high and divided into three tiers. It is considered one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Vietnam and the fourth-largest waterfall among the world’s top 10 most spectacular waterfalls located along an international border.
12:00 Have lunch at a restaurant. After lunch, the vehicle and tour guide will continue taking you to visit:
- The Vietnam–China border market, where local Vietnamese and Chinese residents trade goods. Subject to permission, the tour guide will assist you with the procedures for crossing the border so you can enjoy an additional view of Ban Gioc Waterfall from the Chinese side.
- Visit the unique Khuoi Ky Village, known for its stone-built stilt houses.
- Phuc Sen knife-forging village, famous for its long-standing tradition of producing high-quality knives made from automobile leaf-spring steel.
17:30 Return to Cao Bang City, check in to the hotel, rest, and then have dinner.
The evening is free to explore Cao Bang City at night. Overnight in Cao Bang.

07:30 In the morning, visit the following attractions:
- Thang Hen Lake, a natural enclosed body of water fed by underground rivers and streams, with many underground streams flowing away through a system deep within the limestone mountain ranges.
- Thủng Mountain (also known as God’s Eye Mountain), set amid a picturesque and majestic landscape.
11:00 Have lunch at a restaurant in Trà Lĩnh. After lunch, the vehicle will continue taking you to Pác Bó.
15:00 Arrive at Pác Bó and visit the Pác Bó Historical Site (50 km from Cao Bằng City). Here, visit the places where President Ho Chi Minh lived and worked during the resistance years from 1941 to 1945. Take souvenir photos at Lenin Stream and Marx Mountain, visit Cốc Bó Cave, and take souvenir photos at Milestone 0 on the Ho Chi Minh Road. Visit the memorial site of Kim Đồng.
18:00 Return to Cao Bằng City and have dinner at a restaurant. At the scheduled time, the Cao Bằng–Hà Nội bus will arrive to pick you up and take you to Hà Nội. Overnight on the bus. Early the next morning, arrive at Gia Lâm Bus Station or Mỹ Đình Bus Station, depending on your choice. End of the program.
