DONG HOI - PHONG NHA - KE BANG NATIONAL PARK - NHAT LE BEACH (Lunch, dinner)

Cruise upstream along the romantic Son River and admire the charming natural scenery on both banks. Visitors will encounter images of young women and children playing by the river, experiencing the daily life of riverside villages imbued with the spirit of rural Vietnam.
Visit Phong Nha Cave (water cave): Home to a unique underground river system and stalactites found nowhere else in the world. Explore Co Tien Cave and Cung Dinh Cave, admiring beautiful stalactite formations created by nature over thousands of millennia.

Mui Rong, the final resting place of General Vo Nguyen Giap, is Tho Mountain, part of the Hoanh Son Range extending across the sea. You will visit the burial site and offer incense in memory of General Vo Nguyen Giap.
Here, you can explore and admire the scenic beauty of Vung Chua – Yen Island. From the summit of Tho Son, take in the surrounding sky and sea—a peaceful and spacious setting. You may partly understand why the General chose this place for his eternal rest and once again admire the insight of this great figure.
Continue the journey to Ngang Pass, the natural boundary between Ha Tinh and Quang Binh Provinces, known through the poetry and literature of many poets.

Visit “Heaven’s Gate,” the Hoanh Son Quan gate relic built in 1833 during the reign of King Minh Mang to control passage through the pass in ancient times. Visit the sacred shrine dedicated to Princess Lieu Hanh to offer incense and pray for peace. Princess Lieu Hanh is one of the Four Immortals in legendary Vietnamese folk culture. The shrine dedicated to Saint Mother Lieu Hanh at the foot of Ngang Pass also commemorates the legend of her descent to earth here.
