Detailed itinerary
DA NANG – HUE ANCIENT CAPITAL – THE IMPERIAL CITY – THIEN MU PAGODA (LUNCH/DINNER)
Morning: Our vehicle and tour guide will pick you up at the airport / train station / bus station in Da Nang between 06:00 and 07:30. You will then depart for Hue. Alternatively, you can be picked up in Hue between 11:00 and 12:00, beginning the 3-day 2-night Da Nang – Hue – Quang Binh tour.
Noon: Enjoy lunch at a restaurant in Hue.
Afternoon: The vehicle takes the group to visit famous landmarks of Hue:
- The Imperial City - Royal Palace of the 13 kings of the Nguyen Dynasty, the last feudal dynasty of Vietnam: Ngo Mon Gate, Thai Hoa Palace, the Forbidden Purple City, The Mieu Temple, Hien Lam Pavilion, and the Nine Dynastic Urns.
- The ancient Thien Mu Pagoda, steeped in history and moss-covered charm, built in the early years of the 17th century.
Evening: Have dinner at a restaurant. You are free to explore the Ancient Capital at night or enjoy Hue folk songs on a dragon boat cruise along the Perfume River (at your own expense).
Overnight at a hotel in Hue.

Morning: You have breakfast at the hotel. Check out of the hotel. Continuing the itinerary, the vehicle and tour guide will pick you up to depart for Quang Binh. Along the journey, you will have the opportunity to pass by the 17th Parallel, Hien Luong Bridge - Ben Hai River, and listen to the tour guide's commentary about the demarcation line that once divided the North and South for 20 historic years.
You will stop to visit the sacred La Vang Holy Land, an important pilgrimage site for Vietnamese Catholics located in Hai Lang District, Quang Tri Province.
Noon: The group enjoys lunch at a restaurant at Phong Nha Cave.
Afternoon: You begin your sightseeing:
- Paradise Cave (or you can choose Paradise Cave), exploring the mystical beauty of the longest dry cave in Asia, a natural wonder of the world with the exquisite masterpieces bestowed by nature.
- Afterwards, you will take a boat trip on the Son River and visit the longest wet cave.
Note: If you do not visit Phong Nha Cave, you can opt for Paradise Cave with a winding wooden walkway extending up to 1 km. Here, you have the opportunity to admire stunning stalactites likened to an "Underground Royal Palace."
At the appointed time, the vehicle takes the group back to Hue along the legendary Truong Son - Ho Chi Minh highway.
Evening: You have dinner at a restaurant. Overnight at the hotel in Hue.
Morning: You have breakfast at the hotel. Check out of the hotel. Continuing the itinerary, the vehicle and tour guide will pick you up to depart for Quang Binh.
