07:00 Our vehicle and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel or meeting point, then depart for Tien Giang.
Along the way, the tour guide will share interesting stories about the poetic names of landmarks in the Mekong Delta waterways.
09:30 Upon arriving in My Tho City, our vehicle and tour guide will take the group to visit:
Vinh Trang Pagoda (Vinh Truong Ancient Temple) – here the group visits an ancient pagoda with over 100 years of history, notably featuring a unique blend of Eastern and Western architectural styles that create a harmonious beauty for this ancient temple. Afterward, the vehicle and tour guide will take the group to My Tho pier to board a boat for sightseeing:
The group cruises along the Tien River to admire the scenery of 4 islets: Long, Lan, Qui, Phung, and enjoy the views of My Tho fishing port and the floating fish farm village along Tan Long Islet.
Arriving at Thoi Son Islet:
- The group visits a local home to tour a beekeeping farm and enjoy honey tea with specialty jams. In particular, the group can take on the challenge of taking souvenir photos with a python.
- The group walks along the village roads of Thoi Son to visit a coconut candy workshop and taste traditional coconut candy.
- The group enjoys seasonal fruits and listens to Southern Vietnamese folk music (Don Ca Tai Tu).
