Detailed itinerary
HO CHI MINH CITY – CON DAO – LUNCH AND DINNER
Morning: The vehicle and tour guide will pick you up at the meeting point. Afterwards, the tour guide will assist you with the necessary boarding procedures at Tan Son Nhat Airport for your flight to Con Dao.
Arriving in Con Dao, our first destination is Phu Hai Prison, one of the poignant historical sites of Con Dao. Located near Phu My Bay, this prison was built in 1862 and was once a place of brutal detention and torture of Vietnamese revolutionary soldiers.
The second stop on the tour is also one of the prisons from the French colonial and American-backed regimes: the French- and American-style tiger cages, which detained many famous political prisoners, including Ton Duc Thang.
Noon: The group takes a break and enjoys lunch at a local restaurant. Afterwards, you will check in to your hotel and store your luggage.
Afternoon: The vehicle and tour guide take you to visit Hang Duong Cemetery, known as one of the most sacred places in the nation, where more than 2,000 soldiers are buried.
Do not miss paying respects at the grave of Co Sau (Vo Thi Sau), a revolutionary heroine who made great contributions to the independence and reunification of the country.
Next, we will visit the cultural heritage site of Ba Phi Yen Temple. Learn about the life of a faithful and deeply patriotic woman, revered as the patron mother of the Con Dao land.
Visit Van Son Pagoda (Van Son Tu) – one of the rare pagodas on the island.
Evening: The group returns to the hotel for dinner and to rest and relax.

The group travels to Dam Trau Beach, an exquisite natural landscape with stretching white sands, crystal-clear blue water, and leaning coconut palms. Visiting here, you will experience the pristine, peaceful beauty of nature.
Noon: Return to the restaurant to rest and have lunch.
Afternoon: Visit a renowned pearl farming facility in Con Dao. Here, guests will learn about the closed-loop cultivation process for highest-quality commercial pearls, as well as admire stunning, glittering pearl jewelry and crafts.
Check-in at Shark Cape (Mui Ca Map), home to Love Peak with its breathtaking scenery.
At the end of the afternoon, visit the historic site of Pier 914. This is the sacred ground where 914 political prisoners perished in accidents during the pier's construction.
Evening: Enjoy dinner, then spend free time exploring Con Dao at night.
