Detailed itinerary

HO CHI MINH CITY – CON DAO (Breakfast, Lunch)

05:00 The vehicle and tour guide will pick you up at the meeting point to begin the tour. Along the way, the group will have breakfast in Ba Ria town.

08:00 The tour guide and vehicle will take you to Cau Da Port to complete boarding procedures for the ferry to Con Dao.

11:00 As soon as the ferry docks, the picturesque beauty of Con Dao unfolds before your eyes. The enthusiastic tour guide and vehicle will take the group to explore famous landmarks such as majestic Hon Ba, the mysterious Cua Tu, the romantic Love Peak (Dinh Tinh Yeu), the poetic Nhat Beach (Bai Nhat), and the cool Japanese Stream.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Afterwards, the group will proceed to the hotel for check-in and relaxation.

14:00 The vehicle and tour guide will pick you up to visit and take photos at popular Con Dao attractions:
Governor's Palace (Dinh Chua Dao):

- A symbol of power and brutality: The Governor's Palace was not only the residence of the island's rulers but also the center of authority, where harsh decisions sealing the fates of countless souls were made. The mansion's architecture is steeped in French colonial style—luxurious yet exuding an aura of cold detachment.

- A witness to history: Through the walls and rooms of the mansion, one can almost hear the whispers of history, bearing witness to the nation's struggle for independence.

Pier 914:

- The gateway to hell: Pier 914 was once the arrival point for political prisoners exiled to Con Dao. The haunting image of chained lines of prisoners trudging along the pier became an unforgettable trauma for so many.

- A harbor of farewells: Pier 914 was also where soldiers departed for battle and prisoners were transferred. This place witnessed countless tears and agonizing goodbyes.

Phu Hai Historical Relic:

- Hell on earth: Phu Hai Camp stands as a symbol of colonial brutality. The rice mill cell, solitary confinement quarters, and the Con Lon stone-breaking yard are places that send a chill down the spine of anyone who sets foot there.

- Indomitable spirit: Despite facing brutal tortures, the revolutionary fighters maintained an unwavering resolve and steadfast spirit.

French and American "Tiger Cages" Historical Relics:

- Hell on earth recreated: The French and American Tiger Cages are among the most haunting sites of Con Dao Prison. The reinforced cage system and cramped, damp cells were where prisoners endured severe physical and psychological torment.

- Witnesses to a dark history: These relics serve as living proof of colonial and imperialist crimes, while remaining a profound reminder of the immense sacrifices made by previous generations.

Hang Duong Cemetery is the resting place of tens of thousands of heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the nation's independence and freedom. It is not only a cemetery, but also a living museum.

Ba Phi Yen Temple (An Son Mieu) is an ancient and sacred shrine dedicated to Lady Phi Yen, a consort of Lord Nguyen Anh. It is one of Con Dao's most renowned spiritual destinations.
CON DAO – SAIGON (Breakfast, Lunch)

07:00 Check out of the hotel, then the tour guide will take the group to have breakfast at a restaurant.

Visit Con Dao Museum: one of the destinations that attracts a large number of tourists. It preserves and displays thousands of precious artifacts and documents, authentically and vividly recreating the nation's history of struggle against colonialists and imperialists in the "hell on earth" of Con Dao.

Visit the memorial temple of Heroine Vo Thi Sau, an indomitable national heroine of Vietnam. Here, visitors not only pay their respects but also hear stories about her life and noble sacrifice.

From the peak of Nui Mot, a panoramic view of Con Dao town unfolds before your eyes like a picturesque painting. Standing atop the mountain and admiring the vast ocean will certainly bring you unforgettable experiences.

Visit Van Son Pagoda, located on a small hill, to seek peace of mind.

Finally, the group will visit and shop at Con Dao Market. Enjoy lunch at a restaurant.

The vehicle will transfer you to Ben Dam Port to complete check-in procedures for the 13:30 boat back to Vung Tau. Upon arrival in Vung Tau, a vehicle will pick you up and take you back to Ho Chi Minh City.

18:00 Arrive in Saigon, concluding the Con Dao Tour for September 2nd: National Day by the Sea and Islands.
