Detailed itinerary
07:30 - 07:45: Our vehicle and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel or private residence in central Da Nang or Hoi An. For group tours, the pickup time may vary by approximately 30 minutes; the journey to Cua Dai Port takes about 40 minutes.
08:30 Our tour guide will meet guests at the port (for guests choosing port pickup) and take them to the pier to board the boat for a one-day Cham Island tour.
The high-speed canoe to Cham Island will complete departure procedures and take guests across the Cua Dai estuary to Cham Island, beginning the journey to explore Cham Island, which has been recognized as a World Biosphere Reserve.
09:00 - 09:30 The group arrives at the pier. Guests can rest while the tour guide completes the procedures for entering Cham Island. Here, you will visit and discover the daily life and culture of the local people, as well as prominent attractions such as:
- Tan Hiep Rural Market
- Marine Museum
- Ancient Well
- Hai Tang Pagoda
- Explore local life by motorbike (at your own expense)
- Swim and snorkel
Continuing the one-day Cham Island tour, you will explore the pristine, romantic natural scenery of Hon Lao, Hon Dai, Hon Chong and more; immerse yourself in the simple local life and receive a warm welcome from fishing village residents; admire the alluring beauty of legendary destinations such as Chong Beach, Ong Beach, Ba Cave, the Marine Shelter, the Marine Museum, the Ancient Well and Hai Tang Pagoda; and enjoy local Cham Island specialties rich in the flavors of the sea, including shrimp, fish, squid, sea snails, rock crab and wild vegetables.
Hai Tang Pagoda is one of the must-visit destinations on our Cham Island tour, with a history of more than a hundred years. Hai Tang Pagoda is a spiritual destination for the people of Tan Hiep Commune and visitors from near and far.
10:30 - 11:30 After visiting Bai Lang, the canoe takes guests to Chong Beach/Ong Beach to change clothes and go snorkeling. The snorkeling session lasts approximately 45 minutes. Guests who do not wish to snorkel can relax free of charge in hammocks or on lounge chairs provided on site.
While Chong Beach is a favorite destination for swimming and snorkeling, Ong Beach, with its captivating pristine beauty, is ideal for sunbathing and recreational activities. Alternatively, you can visit Bai Huong Fishing Village for a peaceful retreat, offering guests a variety of options for choosing their preferred snorkeling location when booking the tour. Guests return to Ong Beach to change clothes, take a freshwater shower and have lunch on Ong Beach, Cham Island.
11:45 Guests have lunch at a restaurant on Ong Beach, Cham Island, enjoying a variety of fresh seafood specialties as well as the delightful pleasures of summer, including playing in the waves and sunbathing.
You will enjoy fresh seafood caught around Cham Island, forest bitter greens and gai leaf ít cakes, familiar dishes of the local people. You can also buy seafood at Tan Hiep Rural Market and ask the restaurant to prepare it.
After lunch, guests are free to relax on the beach or take beautiful photos at the almondwood tree.
14:00 Say goodbye to Cham Island. Everyone boards the canoe back to the mainland, then takes the vehicle back to Da Nang or Hoi An according to the pre-arranged drop-off location. Please check your belongings carefully before departing.
15:00 The group arrives in Da Nang. The vehicle will drop you off at the original pickup point, say goodbye to guests and conclude the Da Nang–Cham Island tour. On behalf of the company, our tour guide thanks you and looks forward to seeing you again on future trips.
