Detailed itinerary
DA NANG – IMPERIAL CITY OF HUE – THE CITADEL – THIEN MU PAGODA (LUNCH/DINNER)
Morning: Our vehicle and tour guide will pick you up at Da Nang Airport/Train Station/Bus Station from 06:00–07:30. You will then depart for Hue. (Alternatively, the vehicle will pick you up in Hue from 11:00–12:00.)
Noon: Enjoy lunch at a restaurant in Hue.
Afternoon: The vehicle will take the group to visit Hue’s famous attractions:
- The Citadel – the Imperial Palace of the 13 kings of the Nguyen Dynasty, Vietnam’s last feudal dynasty: the Ngo Mon Gate, Thai Hoa Palace, the Forbidden Purple City, the To Mieu Temple, Hien Lam Pavilion, and the Nine Dynastic Urns.
- The ancient Thien Mu Pagoda, covered in moss and steeped in history, was built in the early 17th century.
Evening: The group will have dinner at a restaurant. You are free to explore the former imperial capital at night or enjoy Hue royal court music on a dragon boat on the Perfume River (at your own expense).
Overnight at a hotel in Hue.

Morning: Guests have breakfast at the hotel. Check out of the hotel. Continue the itinerary as the vehicle and tour guide take guests to Quang Binh. Along the way, guests will have the opportunity to pass the 17th Parallel, Hien Luong Bridge, and the Ben Hai River, and hear the tour guide explain the demarcation line that once divided North and South Vietnam for 20 years of history.
Guests stop to visit the sacred La Vang Holy Land, an important pilgrimage site for Vietnamese Catholics, located in Hai Lang District, Quang Tri Province.
Noon: The group has lunch at a restaurant at Phong Nha Cave.
Afternoon: Guests begin sightseeing:
- Paradise Cave (or may choose Paradise Cave), exploring the mysterious beauty of Asia's longest dry cave, a natural wonder of the world featuring magnificent creations of nature.
- After that, guests take a boat on the Son River and visit the longest water cave.
Note: If guests do not visit Phong Nha Cave, they can choose Paradise Cave, accessed via a winding wooden bridge stretching 1 km. Here, guests have the opportunity to admire beautiful stalactite formations likened to a royal palace deep within the earth.
At the appointed time, the vehicle takes the group back to Hue along the legendary Truong Son–Ho Chi Minh route.
Evening: Guests have dinner at a restaurant. Overnight at a hotel in Hue.

- Incense and Conical Hat Village – Hue’s oldest traditional craft village. Enjoy taking photos and admiring the vibrant scenery of multicolored incense bundles in blue, red, purple, and yellow.
Noon: Have lunch at a restaurant.
Afternoon: The vehicle will take the group to Hue Train Station/Airport at 13:00 (after this time, guests will make their own way to Hue Train Station or Airport). The group departs for Da Nang and stops to shop for Central Vietnamese specialties.
Transfer guests to Da Nang Train Station/Airport (between 16:00 and 17:30).
