Detailed itinerary
Morning 04:30 (Breakfast at your own expense). Our vehicle and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in Da Nang and depart for Sa Ky Port, Quang Ngai.
08:00 Arrive at Sa Ky Port and complete the procedures to board a high-speed boat to Ly Son Island. Discover this beautiful island, likened to a “fairy island” amid the vast sea, with emerald-green waters. The island is evidence of volcanic craters that have ceased activity, leaving behind fascinating natural landscapes.
09:00 The boat arrives at Ly Son Port. The vehicle takes the group to visit the Hoang Sa and Bac Hai Flotilla Exhibition Museum, learn about artifacts affirming Vietnam’s sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos, and hear the legend of King Gia Long’s well.
Then continue to visit Hang Pagoda – Thien Khong Thach Tu, located at the foot of Thoi Loi Mountain. Inside the cave are beautiful rock formations; in front of the cave is a row of ancient Indian almond trees and a statue of Guanyin facing the sea. The peaceful scenery is ideal for visitors to relax and enjoy the landscape.
Visit the summit of Thoi Loi Mountain and admire a miniature panorama of Ly Son Island District, featuring a harmonious combination of the blue sea and pure white sand. Along the road to the summit of Thoi Loi Mountain stands the Fatherland Flagpole, construction of which began in 2013, facing the Hoang Sa Archipelago. The group stops to take commemorative photos at the Vietnamese sovereignty flagpole overlooking the sea and admire the deep-blue ocean.
Continue to visit the Temple of Holy Mother Thien Y A Na, dedicated to the goddess whom coastal residents believe will bless them with a prosperous and happy life through her protection and care.
11:30 The group returns to a restaurant in Ly Son for lunch and rest.
