✔ Lung Cu Flag Tower: The final destination of the day is Lung Cu Flag Tower—the northernmost point of the Fatherland, which everyone wishes to visit at least once in their lifetime. The group learns about the cultural history of this “frontier bastion of the country,” the construction of the flag tower, and the process by which ethnic minority communities in the northernmost border region have preserved every inch of the borderland.

Evening: Dinner at a restaurant featuring the famous black chicken hot pot. Free time to stroll through Dong Van Ancient Town, enjoy coffee, and more.

✔ Mã Pí Lèng Pass: Mã Pì Lèng Pass, known as Vietnam’s foremost scenic wonder and the most beautiful and majestic of the “Four Great Passes of Northern Vietnam.” The group returns to Hà Giang. The pass is 21 km long and connects Đồng Văn and Mèo Vạc districts.

✔ Cruise through Tu Sản Canyon – Nho Quế River: Board a boat and cruise through Tu Sản Canyon on the Nho Quế River. The Nho Quế River flows into Vietnam from Séo Lủng Village, Lũng Cú Commune, Đồng Văn District, passes through Tu Sản Canyon, then flows along Mã Pì Lèng Pass. Upon reaching Mèo Vạc, it flows eastward into Cao Bằng Province before emptying into the Gâm River. Tu Sản Canyon is considered the deepest canyon in Southeast Asia and is located in a valley with unique geological formations in Vietnam.

Tu Sản Canyon lies between Đồng Văn and Mèo Vạc. At an elevation of 1,500 m and a depth of 700–900 m, the canyon runs northwest–southeast and possesses a poetic, mysterious beauty, like a magical jade thread appearing and disappearing amid the rugged mountains and forests of Northeast Vietnam.

Lunch: Have lunch in Đồng Văn, then depart for Hà Giang.

✔ Visit the Lùng Tám brocade and hemp-weaving village: Learn about the Hmong people’s hemp-weaving culture and experience the 41 stages involved in creating the products. Wear traditional clothing and take souvenir photos.
