5:00 The vehicle and tour guide pick up guests at the meeting point and depart for Ha Giang. Along the way, the group stops to rest and have breakfast at the Kim Anh intersection, then continues to Ha Giang. 7:00 Continue the 5-day, 4-night Ha Giang–Sapa tour. The group departs for Dong Van. Along the way, the group will stop at two famous passes in Ha Giang, Tham Ma Pass and Chin Khoanh Pass, to admire the scenery, take photos, rest, and listen to a Luxtour tour guide introduce the Dong Van Karst Plateau.
8:00 Arrive in Sung La. Here, you will visit Lung Cam Cultural Village—a small village of the H’Mong people, home to “Pao’s House,” a famous house that was once a filming location for the popular television film “Pao’s House.” In addition to visiting the traditional rammed-earth houses of the H’Mong ethnic people, visitors can experience and discover unique cultural features and take photos beside the buckwheat flower fields in front of “Pao’s House.”
9:00 Board the vehicle and continue to the Vuong Family Mansion. Built in the late 20th century, this mansion is a distinctive and unique architectural work containing many historical values. Here, in addition to learning about the house’s unique design, you will hear an introduction to the Vuong family and the H’Mong King, the opium-trade magnate of that period.
10:00 Travel to Lung Cu Flag Tower and conquer the 839 steps to the summit of Dragon Mountain, admiring the national flag proudly flying in the wind. Here, visitors can participate in the following activities:
- Listen to an introduction to the process of building the flag tower and the indomitable, steadfast spirit of the ethnic people in the mountainous regions during the struggle to protect the border and territory.
- Take check-in photos with the national flag and the buckwheat flower fields at the foot of the flag tower.
12:00 Have lunch at a local resident’s house, then continue by vehicle to Meo Vac.
15:00 The group travels through the Ma Pi Leng Pass area. This is one of the “Four Great Passes”—four of the most dangerous and challenging passes in Vietnam. Here, you will stop to take check-in photos and admire the emerald-green Nho Que River winding below the pass. If desired, visitors can travel down to Tu San Canyon to enjoy a boat ride and admire the scenery.
16:00 Depart for Dong Van Town, check in at the hotel, rest, or freely explore Dong Van Town.

Here, the group is free to explore Cat Cat Stream, admire the village, and purchase souvenirs and brocade products.
