Detailed itinerary
HANOI - HA GIANG – DONG VAN (LUNCH, DINNER)
Morning: 05:00 The car and tour guide pick you up at the meeting point to begin your trip to Ha Giang. Along the way, the group stops for breakfast at their own expense. Stop in Ham Yen, Tuyen Quang, and sample local specialties such as Ham Yen oranges and red-fleshed dragon fruit. Upon arriving in Ha Giang City, the group takes commemorative photos at KM0 Milestone in the city center.
Noon: Enjoy lunch at a restaurant in Ha Giang City. Then continue to Dong Van. Along the way, admire the magnificent scenery of the Dong Van Karst Plateau Global Geopark. The highlights of the day include stops to visit buckwheat flower fields:
- Quan Ba Twin Mountains and Heaven’s Gate.
- Tham Ma Pass.
- Pho Cao and Sung La, entering Lung Cam Cultural Village, the setting for famous films such as “Pao’s Story” and “Silence Beneath the Deep Valley”… Take photos of buckwheat and mustard flowers, depending on the season.
Afternoon: Arrive in Dong Van Town, check in to the hotel, and relax.
Evening: Enjoy dinner at a restaurant. Freely explore Dong Van Old Quarter at night and stay overnight in Dong Van.

DONG VAN – NHO QUE RIVER – LUNG CU – KING OF THE HMONG PALACE – YEN MINH (BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER)
Morning: Have breakfast at the restaurant, then check out. Visit Dong Van Market, the most famous market in the Northeast region.
Then, the vehicle and tour guide take you to visit and conquer Ma Pi Leng Pass on the way to Meo Vac, which is also the most beautiful section of the road known as the "Happiness Road." Take photos of the majestic beauty of Ma Pi Leng Canyon, 800–1,000 meters deep—the place with Vietnam’s deepest geological division. Continue the journey with a boat ride on the Nho Que River. The group will have unique check-in photos with the Nho Que River and Tu San Canyon, considered the “foremost magnificent natural wonder,” with cliffs reaching 700–800 meters in height, extending 1.7 kilometers, and reaching depths of 700–900 meters. It is the most spectacular and unique scenic attraction of the Dong Van Karst Plateau.
Lunch: Have lunch at a restaurant in Dong Van Town.
Afternoon: The vehicle takes you to visit the National Flag Tower at the northernmost point of the country and take commemorative photos. From Lung Cu Flag Tower, you can admire the beautiful terraced fields interspersed with the rammed-earth houses of the Lo Lo people in Seo Lung Village below. On the way to Lung Cu (in Lung Tao), immerse yourself in a buckwheat flower field with its enchanting colors—a beautiful flower with tiny pale pink blossoms whose petals cluster into a conical shape with three triangular sides, enclosing a precious grain in the middle. You will certainly be delighted to admire this flower.
- King of the Hmong Palace – Vuong Chinh Duc’s palace is located in a valley in Sa Phin Commune. This was the wealthiest and most powerful family in Dong Van District in the early 20th century.

Noon: Have lunch in Ha Giang City. After lunch, continue by vehicle to Hanoi.

- Children aged 10 and above are considered adults.
