Escaping the bustling city in just a few minutes, you will find a Northern Vietnamese countryside with rice paddies, gardens, and a slower pace of life. Your female driver will take you across Long Bien Bridge and along the banks of the Red River to a bonsai artisan's home to learn about the art of tree shaping.
Afterward, stroll through a rural market to sample fruits, relax by a lotus pond with a cup of sugarcane juice, and visit the Co Loa relic site—an ancient capital linked to the legend of King An Duong Vuong. The tour concludes with a Hanoi lunch and a cup of egg coffee.

Part 1 – Pick-up (8:00 or 13:00) and Long Bien Bridge.
Part 2 – Countryside and Bonsai Garden: Ride along riverside village roads, visit a bonsai-growing family.
Part 3 – Rural Market, Lotus Lake, and Co Loa Citadel: Taste fruits, sugarcane juice; visit the Co Loa historical site.
Part 4 – Lunch and Egg Coffee: Hanoi-style lunch (afternoon tour has lunch at the start of the tour) and egg coffee.

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure for a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours are non-refundable. The tour runs rain or shine (rain ponchos provided); in the event of hazardous weather conditions, the tour will be rescheduled or fully refunded.
Other notes
Guests ride pillion, no self-driving. The tour still runs in the rain (raincoats provided). Private tour price: 69 USD/person; excluding lunch: 45 USD/person.
