This full-day tour lets you compare the slow pace of the countryside with the vibrant rhythm of the city. In the morning, your Vespa whisks you away to the rural areas along the Red River, where you will visit a bonsai artisan, stroll through a local village market, take a rest by a lotus pond, and explore the Co Loa ancient citadel relic.
After a Vietnamese lunch, the group returns to the city, riding across Long Bien Bridge to admire passing boats and the alluvial sandbanks, passing iconic landmarks such as the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, and the Hanoi Opera House, wandering through the Old Quarter, and concluding with a cup of egg coffee.

Detailed itinerary
Part 1 – 8:00 Pick-up and head to the Red River countryside: Hotel pick-up, safety briefing, ride along the dike admiring the fields.
Part 2 – Bonsai garden, countryside market, and Co Loa Citadel: Meet a bonsai artisan, taste fruits at the market, visit Co Loa Citadel.
Part 3 – Lunch: Enjoy a Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant.
Part 4 – Long Bien Bridge, landmarks, and egg coffee: Cross Long Bien Bridge, pass by major landmarks, explore the Old Quarter, enjoy egg coffee; return to hotel around 16:30.

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure for a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours are non-refundable. The tour runs rain or shine (rain ponchos provided); in the event of hazardous weather conditions, the tour will be rescheduled or fully refunded.
Other notes
Guests sit on the back, no self-driving. The tour still runs in the rain (raincoats provided). Private tour price: 129 USD/person.
