NGA BAY RIVER – SOUTHERN CEASEFIRE VILLAGE – VINH HIEP PAGODA – PHUNG HIEP TEMPLE - NGA BAY SONG GARDEN ECO-TOURISM AREA - ORANGE ORCHARD – BOAT BUILDING WORKSHOP
Morning:
08:00 The boat and tour guide pick you up at the Nga Bay River meeting point at the tourist boat wharf featuring the two-boat symbol in Nga Bay City and begin the journey "Rediscovering the Nga Bay River".
Cruising along the Nga Bay River, listen to the tour guide's introduction about the seven river branches, and enjoy the famous vọng cổ song associated with this river, "Tình Anh Bán Chiếu" (The Sedge Mat Seller's Love) by the late People's Artist Vien Chau, performed by the late People's Artist Ut Tra On.
Along the way, the group visits the Southern Ceasefire Village established in 1954, where the Geneva Accords were implemented between France and Vietnam.
The boat continues to visit Vinh Hiep Pagoda, located next to a branch of the Nga Bay River, built in the early 20th century.
The boat stops at Phung Hiep Temple, dedicated to the Tutelary Deity governing this land, built in 1907.
The boat visits the Traditional Craft Village of Bamboo Basket Weaving and Boat Building, once famous between 1976 and 1986 in Nga Bay City.
