Detailed itinerary
Morning: Hanoi – K9 Đá Chông Historical Site
07:00 Our vehicle and tour guide will pick you up at the departure point and take you to K9, K9 Đá Chông Historical Site, where President Ho Chi Minh and the Central Party leaders once worked. It was also the place where President Ho Chi Minh’s embalmed body was preserved during the years before the Mausoleum was inaugurated. K9 Đá Chông is located in a primeval forest within the Ba Vì mountain range, at an altitude of 150 meters above sea level.
08:30 Arrive at K9. The group visits the Central Committee Historical Site during the resistance against the United States (Đá Chông–Ba Vì). Listen to an introduction to Đá Chông Historical Site, which President Ho Chi Minh selected as a safe area for the Central Committee during the resistance against the United States. Visit the living quarters and working rooms of the Politburo and President Ho Chi Minh, as well as the place where President Ho Chi Minh’s embalmed body was preserved from 1969 to 1975.
11:00 Have lunch at a restaurant.
Afternoon: Thanh Thủy Hot Mineral Springs – Hanoi City Center
13:00 Board the vehicle to Thanh Thủy Hot Mineral Springs. Thanh Thủy Hot Mineral Springs does not refer to one specific stream but to a large area in La Phù Commune, Thanh Thủy District, Phú Thọ Province. This area has underground hot mineral water sources, with an average temperature of 45–60°C.
The hot mineral water is extracted from a depth of nearly 100 meters. It contains many trace minerals, giving Thanh Thủy hot mineral water the ability to aid recovery, improve blood circulation, and benefit the heart.
In recent years, the demand for weekend getaways and outdoor excursions has grown strongly. To meet this demand, many resorts and hotels have been built in Thanh Thủy to serve visitors seeking relaxation and hot mineral baths.
