Detailed itinerary

CAN THO – CHAU DOC – AN GIANG (Lunch, dinner)

08:30 The vehicle and tour guide pick up guests at the airport or hotel, then depart for Chau Doc – An Giang. Following National Highway 91, we will pass through Long Xuyen City – the capital of An Giang Province and the hometown of the late President Ton Duc Thang.

Noon: Arrive in Chau Doc, guests have lunch, then visit:

– Ba Chua Xu Temple – a major pilgrimage center in the Mekong Delta known for its festival. The Ba Chua Xu Nui Sam Festival (24th day of the 4th lunar month) was recognized as a national-level festival in 2001. Guests may pray for peace and blessings for their family and loved ones.

– Thoai Ngoc Hau Mausoleum – Son Lang, dedicated to one of the founding meritorious officials of the Nguyen Dynasty – a general credited with expanding the southwestern frontier of the country.

Leaving Chau Doc, guests continue to Tri Ton, where they will encounter vast rice fields stretching as far as the eye can see, following An Giang’s large-scale model field system. There are also sugar palm fields that strongly reflect the distinctive character of the Khmer people of Southern Vietnam.

Arriving at the edge of Tra Su Forest, guests travel by “tac rang” motorboat through Tra Su Melaleuca Forest – a vivid representation of the flooded melaleuca forest ecosystem of the Mekong Delta. The group will weave through fragrant lotus ponds and dark green duckweed mats; guests will also experience sitting in a “three-plank boat” to visit the area where storks and herons nest and lay eggs, which is very interesting. At the watchtower, the group can admire the panoramic view of the vast melaleuca forest and flocks of birds and storks flying freely.

15:30 Depart for Can Tho. The group has dinner in Long Xuyen City – An Giang.

Evening: Arrive in Can Tho, guests check in and rest. Free time to explore Can Tho at night.
CAN THO – SOC TRANG – BAC LIEU – CA MAU (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Morning: Guests enjoy a buffet breakfast at the hotel and check out. Then depart for Ca Mau. Guests will follow National Highway 1 through the provinces of Hau Giang, Soc Trang, and Bac Lieu. Along the way, the group visits:

Upon arrival at Mui Ca Mau National Park, visit the mangrove forest ecosystem – with images of melaleuca, mangrove, and black mangrove trees... Together with the rich and diverse ecosystem of various bird species, all create a colorful and fertile picture of the land at the end of Vietnam’s map.

A GLIMPSE OF TAY DO (Breakfast, lunch)

06:30 The tour guide welcomes guests at the boat pier. Guests board the boat to visit Cai Rang Floating Market – a place specializing in the trade of fruits and specialties of the Mekong Delta. In the past, floating markets were formed because roads and road transportation were not yet developed, while the need to buy, sell, and exchange goods led people to gather on the river using means such as small boats, sampans, and motorboats...

08:00 After visiting Cai Rang Floating Market, the boat takes guests to Quê Tôi traditional craft village, where rice noodles are made, to learn about the process of making the famous rice noodles of Can Tho, the land of “white rice and clear water.” Guests can take part in the stages of making rice noodles by hand and enjoy delicious dishes made from rice noodles.

09:00: Next, the boat takes guests to Tay Do Ancient Town tourist area – an essential check-in spot for visitors to Tay Do. This place recreates an old-time space with barbershops, tailor shops, noodle shops, cafés... sure to provide guests with interesting photo opportunities.

10:00 The boat takes guests to Ba Hiep Ecological Garden, where guests will have the chance to play the role of an orchard farmer. Guests receive bicycles to ride around the countryside roads.

Guests stop at the Southern Vietnamese banh xeo-making experience area: Guests can personally show their skills in making banh xeo under the guidance of skilled artisans and enjoy them (Self-paid cost: 30,000 VND/piece).

Continuing the journey, guests receive traditional ba ba outfits and visit the fruit orchard with ripe, laden fruits (seasonal). In addition, guests can experience the enjoyable feeling of paddling a three-plank boat to visit the garden.

“Bailing the ditch to catch fish,” where guests catch clever fish hiding in the mud with their own hands.

“Going down to the pond to catch ducks,” where guests strategize to surround and catch ducks swimming or diving in the pond.

11:30 Guests have lunch at Ba Hiep Garden, sing karaoke, or relax in hammocks while enjoying the peaceful countryside atmosphere.

13:00 Guests return to Ba Hiep boat pier. The boat takes guests to Khoi My Rest Stop, where guests are free to shop for Mekong Delta specialties and souvenirs to bring home as gifts.
