Detailed itinerary

07:00 – 07:30 The bus and tour guide will pick you up at the Old Quarter and Hanoi Opera House area to depart for Ninh Binh. On the way, you will take a 20-minute rest stop.
10:30 Arriving in Ninh Binh, you will visit the ancient capital of Hoa Lu (the capital of Vietnam in the 10th century) and learn about the history of the feudal dynasties that ruled Vietnam.

King Dinh Tien Hoang Temple is located in the central area of the ancient capital of Hoa Lu, featuring the "internal work, external enclosure" (noi cong ngoai quoc) architectural style, which is one of the most famous and distinctive architectural styles in Vietnam. The temple is located right at the main sanctuary with a three-compartment building: the Front Hall (Bai duong), the Incense Burning Hall (Thieu huong), and the Sanctuary (Chinh cung). In the dragon yard right in front of the central compartment of the Front Hall and in front of the outer ceremonial gate, there is a monolithic green-stone dragon bed that has been recognized as a National Treasure.

King Le Dai Hanh Temple is also a complex comprising the Front Hall, the Incense Burning Hall, and the Sanctuary. However, King Le Dai Hanh Temple is smaller and lower in scale compared to King Dinh Tien Hoang Temple, offering an intimate and mystical atmosphere. It boasts unique architecture and extremely exquisite carving artistry, complemented by prominent gilded red lacquer finishes featuring motifs imbued with royal character and distinct cultural arts.

Truong Yen Valley: after the capital was moved to Thang Long, the ancient capital of Hoa Lu was renamed Truong Yen. Visiting this land of Truong Yen, tourists can admire the peaceful and serene beauty characteristic of an ancient capital region.

Experience the countryside landscape by cycling; you can stop along the way to take your best photos.

12:00 Have lunch at a local restaurant with many specialties such as goat meat, crispy rice...

13:00 The tour guide will take you to Tam Coc boat pier.

You will board a boat to visit the caves, passing through 3 caves: Ca Cave, Hai Cave, and Ba Cave. Tam Coc possesses a unique beauty often compared to that of Ha Long Bay. During the 1.5-hour boat ride rowed by local people, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the wonderful beauty that this place has to offer.

16:30 Board the bus to return to Hanoi.

19:00 – 19:30 Arrive in Hanoi, ending the tour. Goodbye and see you again!
