HOA LU - TAM COC - BICH DONG 1 DAY
07:30 Our vehicle and professional tour guide pick you up at the meeting point in the Hanoi Old Quarter area or Hanoi Opera House (No. 1 Trang Tien, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi) to depart for Ninh Binh (about 100 km from Hanoi). On the way, stop for a break at a rest stop in Ha Nam to freely have breakfast and use the restroom – stopover time is about 25 minutes.
10:00 Arrive in Ninh Binh. The group visits Hoa Lu Ancient Capital – home to two historical relics: King Dinh Temple and King Le Temple, built around the 17th century with exquisitely elaborate wood and stone carving techniques. In addition, visitors can hike up Ma Yen Mountain right next to the entrance of the Hoa Lu Ancient Capital Historical Relic Area.
12:00 The vehicle takes visitors back to the restaurant for lunch to enjoy Ninh Binh specialties such as crispy rice, mountain goat meat, etc.
13:30 Board the vehicle to continue the journey to visit the Tam Coc – Ninh Binh Tourist Area. Tam Coc also means "three caves": Hang Ca (First Cave), Hang Hai (Second Cave), and Hang Ba (Third Cave). Visitors will take a boat trip along the winding Ngo Dong River, admiring the beautiful natural landscape such as the golden rice fields glowing across the landscape. The small boats will take visitors weaving through the rice paddies and into water caves that conceal many geological and geomorphological wonders.
15:30 An activity that is extremely popular with tourists in Ninh Binh is cycling. Visitors will be provided with bicycles to freely tour and discover the rustic countryside charm of this ancient land, with its dykes and long, narrow village paths. In addition, visitors can explore on their own the oldest pagoda in Ninh Binh: Bich Dong Pagoda (located about 4 km from Tam Coc).
17:00 Board the vehicle to return to Hanoi. Arrive back in Hanoi at 19:00, where the vehicle drops you off at the original meeting point. Thank you and see you again on your next trip.
