Detailed itinerary
08:00 – 08:30 Our vehicle and tour guide will pick you up at our office or at the designated meeting point in the Old Quarter area and Hanoi Opera House to depart for Ninh Binh. After about a 2-hour drive, we will arrive at the first stop, which is Hoa Lu or Bai Dinh (depending on the tour option selected when booking).
The next attraction is Mua Cave.
11:15 You begin the journey to climb Mua Cave to conquer Ngoa Long Peak – an unmissable masterpiece for anyone visiting Ninh Binh.
This is an opportunity for you to challenge your endurance as you hike up the mountain peak via 486 stone steps. Flanked on both sides by sturdy, moss-covered parapet walls connecting the foot of the mountain to the summit, it is often compared to the Great Wall and is embraced by a majestic limestone mountain range in the background. Along the climb, you might encounter herds of goats climbing the rocky cliffs in search of food, or lush green toothbrush bushes and wild orchids. The amazing feeling of reaching the summit will be an unforgettable moment of your journey. From the top of Ngoa Long, you can take in the panoramic beauty of Ninh Binh's landscape, overlooking the entire Tam Coc area and the mountain ranges of Trang An. During the harvest season, the golden-yellow rice fields at the foot of the mountains add even more charm for visitors.
13:30 After lunch, you will transfer to the bus to Trang An. The vehicle and tour guide will take you to Trang An boat pier to board a boat journeying along the stream between rice paddies to explore the New Trang An tourism complex, where limestone karst ranges, valleys, and interlacing waterways create a mystical and magical setting.
Visiting 8 to 9 caves, you will sit on a traditional sampan boat exploring Bright Cave, Dark Cave, Wine-brewing Cave, and more, while learning about the local history and culture.
