Detailed itinerary
08:00 After having breakfast at your own expense, our vehicle and tour guide will pick you up at designated locations in Da Nang (hotel, private residence, airport, or train station). Depart for the My Son Sanctuary heritage site in Quang Nam, located approximately 70 km southwest of Da Nang. Along the way, you can admire the scenery on both sides of the road and visit Tra Kieu Church, built in 1971.
09:30 The vehicle arrives at the entrance to the archaeological site. The group gets off, prepares personal belongings, and waits for the tour guide to complete the ticket purchase procedures. You will walk along a dirt path for several hundred meters to reach the interior.
09:45 You will enter a tranquil and solemn space. The tour guide will take you to explore the ancient sanctuary complex of the former Champa Kingdom, featuring moss-covered temple towers (including the main KaLan tower complex and the surrounding subsidiary towers) built thousands of years ago. All are concentrated within an area of approximately 2 km. Despite enduring numerous devastating wars and the harshness of time, the site has retained its unique and mysterious character.
During the visit, the tour guide will tell you about the origins and significance of the site, as well as the mysterious stories surrounding this kingdom. This will help you gain a deeper understanding of the history and culture of this dynasty while making the journey even more fascinating.
10:40 Next, the group will enjoy distinctive artistic performances imbued with Cham cultural identity, presented by talented artisans. Unique Shiva dances, Apsara dances, and traditional musical instrument performances will surely captivate you, especially those who love the arts.
11:45 After exploring the site and enjoying the lively dances, the group will board the vehicle and leave My Son Sanctuary for a famous restaurant in Quang Nam to enjoy local specialties, such as Bê Bui Cau Mong or Quang noodles, rice paper rolls with pork, and more, before resting at the restaurant.
13:30 After eating and resting, the vehicle and tour guide will take you back to Da Nang. You will be dropped off at the original pickup point or a new location (at your request).
