Detailed itinerary
07:30 Our vehicle and tour guide pick you up at the meeting point and depart for the 1-day Quang Binh tour, visiting 10 famous historical and scenic sites in Quang Binh. You will begin by visiting the historical and scenic sites in northern Quang Binh.
Vung Chua–Yen Island: a famous scenic site and the final resting place of General Vo Nguyen Giap. Upon arriving at Vung Chua–Yen Island, the group will assemble in an orderly manner to pay respects and offer incense and flowers at General Vo Nguyen Giap’s mausoleum. You will then listen to an introduction to the General’s life and career and the Vung Chua–Yen Island scenic area, followed by free time to admire the scenery and take souvenir photos.
Ngang Pass: a famous historical and scenic site and the natural boundary between Quang Binh and Ha Tinh. Here, you will visit Hoanh Son Gate and the Temple of Mother Lieu Hanh. You can also admire the sea and sky from the top of Hoanh Son.
Canh Duong Mural Village: a new tourist attraction in Quang Binh, where you can take souvenir photos beside murals depicting the daily life and resistance struggle of the people of Canh Duong.
Gianh River Ferry Terminal Historical Site: the Gianh River is one of the famous rivers in Quang Binh. It once divided the country during the Trinh–Nguyen Civil War, causing great suffering and hardship for local people. The Gianh Ferry Terminal also endured heavy bombing by the American imperialists and witnessed the heroic and courageous resistance of the people of Quang Binh.
Da Nhay Beach: one of the two most beautiful beaches in Quang Binh, featuring pristine natural scenery, rock formations, and caves with unusual shapes.
11:30 Have lunch at a restaurant and take a break.
14:00 You continue visiting famous historical and scenic sites in Dong Hoi:
Quang Binh Gate: a famous historical site in Quang Binh, this unique architectural structure was built during the Nguyen Dynasty by the brilliant military architect Dao Duy Tu.
Tam Toa Church: evidence of the war crimes committed by the American imperialists and a famous cultural site associated with the establishment of Catholicism in Quang Binh. It was also the birthplace of the distinguished poet Han Mac Tu and the place where he was baptized.
Mother Suot Monument: a famous historical site commemorating the achievements of a heroic Vietnamese mother who rowed boats to transport ammunition and ferry soldiers across the river, contributing to the resistance against the Americans by the people of Quang Binh.
Quang Phu Sand Dunes: a destination favored by many visitors to Quang Binh. Here, you can conquer towering sand dunes stretching along the beach, walk across pristine white dunes, and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscape from above. In particular, you can experience the “extremely fun and exhilarating” sandboarding activity.
Nhat Le Beach: the most beautiful beach located right in the center of Dong Hoi, making it convenient for visitors to enjoy recreational activities, swim, and experience water activities such as canoeing, parasailing, and paragliding…
17:00 End of the tour. Our vehicle takes you back to the original pick-up point. On behalf of the company, our tour guide thanks you, says goodbye, and looks forward to welcoming you on our future programs.
