Detailed itinerary
08:00 Our vehicle and tour guide pick you up at designated meeting points in Dong Hoi City. The group then departs along the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail to Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park, a famous World Heritage natural site in Quang Binh.
09:00 Visit Phong Nha Cave. You board a boat upstream on the romantic Son River, enjoying the picturesque natural scenery on both riverbanks. Upon reaching the cave entrance, the boat turns off its engine and takes you inside to explore the underground river and the Bi Ky, Co Tien, and Cung Dinh cave systems, admiring magnificent stalactite formations created by nature over millions of years. After the visit, the boat takes you back to the Phong Nha boat dock.
11:30 Have lunch at a restaurant and relax
13:30 Continue visiting Paradise Cave. You board an electric cart to the foothills, then continue walking along the mountainside to the entrance of Paradise Cave. Along the way, you have the opportunity to witness firsthand the biodiversity of the primeval forest surrounding the cave area.
From the cave entrance, you follow wooden stairs to explore the cave system and admire countless magnificent stalactites. You visit the various areas in sequence: Thach Thien Cung, Thac Thien Ha, Quan Tien Hoi Tu, Thap Lien Hoa… and admire stalagmites and stalactites in uniquely shaped formations, including terraced fields, pillars, Cham towers, Central Highlands longhouses, statues of Guanyin, and symbols of prosperity and happiness. After exploring the full 1 km of wooden stairs, you return by the same route.
16:00 You board the vehicle and return to Dong Hoi City. The vehicle takes you back to the original pick-up point, marking the end of the tour. On behalf of the company, our tour guide thanks you, says goodbye, and looks forward to welcoming you on our future programs.
