Detailed itinerary
09:00 Our tour guide picks up the group at the meeting point; the journey begins.
The tour guide welcomes you at the meeting point, and the journey begins. You travel to Go Co Village – an attraction within the Ly Son – Sa Huynh Geopark to learn about the Champa and Dai Viet cultures in the land of Sa Huynh.
09:10 Arrive at Go Co Village and check in to the homestay.
09:30 Stroll around the village, explore the ancient Thien Ly road, stop to enjoy wild pineapple water or seaweed drink (seasonal), then continue to discover the ancient well system and ancient Champa irrigation network.
11:00 Have lunch at the community restaurant. Savor traditional local specialties of the village.
11:45 Return to the homestay for a midday rest.
14:00 Visit the salt fields and experience harvesting Sa Huynh salt alongside local salt workers.
16:00 Visit the Sa Huynh Culture Exhibition House, see jar burials firsthand along with prehistoric artifacts and tools made of ceramic, agate, and stone, and listen to presentations about the history of settlement and development of Sa Huynh culture, its cultural space, and traditional pottery craft.
16:30 Take a walk around An Khe Lagoon – a coastal freshwater lagoon formed during marine regression that turned fresh approximately 3,000–4,000 years ago, which also witnessed the development of the ancient Sa Huynh culture. Visit the ruins of the ancient Cham stone bridge.
17:00 Swim at Go Co Village beach
Return to Go Co Village, prepare swimwear and gear to go swimming at Go Co beach. In addition, guests can go snorkeling to explore the coastal reef ecosystem (at own expense).
18:30 Gather for dinner and join an evening of cultural exchange with the villagers featuring Bai Choi and Ho singing. Listen to fascinating stories about revolutionary history and the preservation of Go Co Village's cultural heritage.
