Detailed itinerary
00 The vehicle and tour guide pick you up at the meeting point.
10 The vehicle departs to visit the War Remnants Museum - Reunification Palace - Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon - Saigon Central Post Office, Ho Chi Minh Museum - Nha Rong Wharf, Giac Lam Pagoda and Ba Thien Hau Temple.
30 The group visits the War Remnants Museum - a specialized museum dedicated to researching, collecting, storing, preserving and displaying documents, images and artifacts related to evidence of crimes and the consequences of wars inflicted on Vietnam by invading forces.
20 The group visits Reunification Palace (also known as Norodom Palace) - a famous architectural work in Ho Chi Minh City. Not only historically significant, Reunification Palace also reflects the distinctive architecture of Vietnam in the 1960s. It was classified by the Prime Minister of Vietnam as a special national monument.
00 The group continues visiting Saigon Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica (the Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of The Immaculate Conception), the cathedral of the Archdiocese of Ho Chi Minh City. A special feature of the building is that it was constructed in the early 19th century, with all construction materials imported from France. To this day, Notre-Dame Cathedral remains one of Saigon's unique architectural works, a destination for domestic and international visitors, and a distinctive feature of Vietnamese tourism.
30 The group visits Ho Chi Minh City Central Post Office. The building was constructed by the French in the late 19th century. Its European style combined with Oriental decorative features creates a distinctive character for a structure that has stood for more than 120 years.
30 The group has lunch at a restaurant and rests there.
00 The group continues to Ho Chi Minh Museum - Nha Rong Wharf. The tour guide provides commentary and guides the group through exhibition rooms displaying images and artifacts that preserve memories of President Ho Chi Minh and southern Vietnam, the place where Uncle Ho departed to seek a path to national liberation…
30 The group visits Giac Lam Pagoda – the “oldest” 300-year-old pagoda in the southeastern region. Giac Lam Pagoda preserves many valuable historical and artistic architectural artifacts, including Buddhist relics presented by Venerable Narada, ancestral stupas and statues made from various materials, as well as horizontal lacquered boards, parallel sentences and more. The pagoda has set a record for having the largest number of decorative plates in Vietnam (specifically 7,454 plates).
30 The group visits Ba Thien Hau Temple (also known as Ba Pagoda in Cho Lon or Tue Thanh Assembly Hall) - a distinctive place of worship and the oldest Chinese religious site in Ho Chi Minh City.
30 Upon arrival at the original pickup point, the tour guide says goodbye to the group, marking the end of the tour. We look forward to welcoming you on your next tour.
