Detailed itinerary

HANOI – VU DAI VILLAGE – TAM CHUC PAGODA (Lunch, Dinner)

07:30 The vehicle and tour guide pick you up at the meeting point to depart for Ha Nam.

09:00 Arrive in Ha Nam, the vehicle takes the group to visit:

- Vu Dai Village - A village renowned in Vietnamese literature, which inspired author Nam Cao to write the immortal masterpiece "Chi Pheo". Visiting Vu Dai Village, travelers will have the opportunity to discover the typical cultural traits of the Northern Vietnamese countryside, visit Ba Kien's house, stroll through rural alleyways, and learn about the local lifestyle.

- Visit the famous Vu Dai braised fish craft village in Ha Nam. You will witness firsthand the steps and process of braising this famous fish dish. If you wish to try it yourself, local artisans will guide you in personally braising the most delicious and authentic clay pots of fish.

- Ba Kien's House: over 100 years old.

- Tomb of writer and martyr Nam Cao: author of classic realist literary works such as Chi Pheo, Doi Thua (A Redundant Life)...

Enjoy lunch at a restaurant.

Afternoon:

Visiting Tam Chuc Pagoda, tourists not only admire its unique architecture but also listen to the mystical legend of "That Tinh" (Seven Stars). Legend has it that on the mountain peaks surrounding the pagoda, glowing "stars" once appeared, creating a shimmering, mystical landscape. However, a mysterious event caused the number of "stars" to decrease, leaving a deep impression on the minds of local people and inspiring the name "Ba Sao Pagoda" (Three Stars Pagoda) - a name evoking endless mystery.

Tourists will transfer to the boat wharf for the Tam Chuc – Ninh Binh Tour to board a cruise across Tam Chuc Lake. Tam Chuc Lake is one of the largest natural lakes in Vietnam, enclosed by limestone mountain ranges. In the middle of the lake, six small mountains emerge, creating poetic and picturesque scenery.

Cruising on the lake, you will visit a small island with a communal house called Tam Chuc Communal House – a structure embodying the essence of Northern Vietnamese temple and pagoda architecture. Next, visitors will arrive at Tam Quan Gate, concluding the lake-sightseeing tour.

Tam Chuc Communal House resembles an ink wash painting set in charming nature. The quaint, graceful communal house is situated on a small island surrounded by crystal-clear water. Its exquisite architecture and heroic historical legends create a unique allure. Legend has it that right here, Emperor Dinh Tien Hoang paid homage to the White Horse Deity, who helped him unify the nation.

Exploring Tam Chuc Pagoda is a journey of discovering unique architectural beauty and immersing yourself in a spiritual realm. Join us to admire the majestic Tam The Hall, the Phap Chu Hall with vivid Buddhist stories, the serene Quan Am Hall, and the magnificent Sutra Pillar Garden.

The Tam Chuc Pagoda complex will amaze visitors with its distinctive architectural beauty. From the Tam Quan Gate with intricately carved motifs and the stately Sutra Pillar Garden to the Tam The Hall housing three imposing Buddha statues, every corner offers fascinating experiences. In particular, Ngoc Pagoda (Jade Pagoda) atop That Tinh Mountain, built entirely of granite, will be an unforgettable highlight of your exploration.

19:30 An electric cart takes you to the restaurant for dinner.

After dinner, the group returns to Tam Chuc Guest House to rest and explore at leisure. Overnight stay at the 4-star standard Tam Chuc Guest House.
DIA TANG PHI LAI PAGODA – HANOI (Breakfast, Lunch)

Morning: You will have breakfast at the guesthouse. Afterward, you will have free time to relax and freshen up at the purification area of Tam Chuc Guesthouse.

11:00: The group checks out and moves to the restaurant area of Tam Chuc Pagoda to rest and have lunch.

13:00: The vehicle takes you to visit Dia Tang Phi Lai Pagoda on the Tam Chuc Tour – also known as Dung Pagoda, featuring unique architecture and a peaceful, serene atmosphere nestled amidst a lush green pine forest. The pagoda dates back to around the early 10th century with 120 ancient compartments.

14:00: The group visits and sightsees the pagoda grounds. As soon as you step into the pagoda's courtyard, you will be captivated by the entire yard covered in pure white gravel. According to the abbot of Dia Tang Phi Lai Pagoda, the white pebbles symbolize peace and safety, while their solid nature represents endurance and stability. The burdens of daily life seem to pause here, casting away all the worries and anxieties of the bustling outside world.

15:30: The group boards the vehicle to return to Hanoi.

18:00: Arrive in Hanoi, concluding the tour. Thank you, and we look forward to seeing you again!
