Detailed itinerary
HANOI - CAO BANG – PÁC BÓ HISTORICAL SITE (LUNCH / DINNER)
06:00 Our vehicle and tour guide will pick you up at the meeting point and depart for Cao Bang via National Highway 3. Along the way, we will stop for a break, where you can have breakfast at your own expense. During the journey, you will also experience a series of famous mountain passes, such as Giang Pass and Gio Pass.
Noon: Have lunch at a restaurant, then return to the hotel to check in and rest.
14:00 Depart for the Pác Bó Historical Site (50 km from Cao Bang City). Here, you will pay your respects and offer incense at President Ho Chi Minh’s memorial house, then visit the places where President Ho Chi Minh lived and worked during the resistance period from 1941 to 1945. The group will take commemorative photos at Lenin Stream and Karl Marx Mountain, and visit Coc Bo Cave …
16:30 Board the vehicle and depart for Cao Bang City.
18:00 Return to the hotel, freshen up and rest.
19:00 The vehicle will take the group to a restaurant for dinner.
In the evening, you are free to explore Cao Bang City at night and enjoy the activities at the square and Kim Dong Walking Street… Overnight at the hotel.

TRUNG KHANH - BA BE (BREAKFAST / LUNCH / DINNER)
06:30 Check out and have breakfast at the hotel.
07:30 Gather at the vehicle and depart for Trung Khanh, a famous frontier land known for Cao Bang chestnuts. Along the way, admire Ma Phuc Pass with its gentle, captivating beauty.
09:30 Arrive in Trung Khanh and visit Nguom Ngao Cave (Tiger Cave), one of the most beautiful caves in northern Vietnam. The cave is located in Gun Village, Dam Thuy Commune, Trung Khanh District, Cao Bang Province, inside a mountain, 5 km from Ban Gioc Waterfall. According to a survey by the British Royal Cave Association in 1995, the cave has a total length of 2,144 meters and three main entrances: Nguom Ngao, Nguom Lom, and Ban Thuon. Inside the cave are numerous stalactites and stalagmites in a rich variety of shapes.
10:00 Continue to Ban Gioc Waterfall. The waterfall is 53 meters high and divided into three tiers. It is considered one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Vietnam and the fourth-largest waterfall among the world's top 10 most spectacular waterfalls located along an international border.
12:00 Have lunch at a restaurant. After lunch, continue by vehicle to Ba Be (Bac Kan), stopping along the way to visit Phuc Sen knife-making village, famous for its long-standing tradition. On the journey, admire the mountain passes travelled on the first day, especially the majestic scenery of the northeastern mountains and forests at Gio Pass.
18:00 Arrive in Ba Be and check in to the hotel for some rest.
19:00 Have dinner, then join a cultural exchange program featuring a campfire, Then singing and bamboo dance performances by the Tay people, and karaoke. Overnight in Ba Be.
06:30 Check out and have breakfast at the hotel.

BA BE LAKE - HANOI (BREAKFAST / LUNCH)
07:00 Have breakfast at the restaurant. After breakfast, depart for Ba Be Lake pier. Relax aboard a small boat while admiring the lake scenery and finding your favorite photo spots. The boat will stop at the following locations:
- Fairy Pond: Fairy Pond is located at the corner of the three parts of Ba Be Lake. It is a small body of water nestled among a high mountain rising above the lake. Legend has it that fairies used to sit here and play chess.
- An Ma Temple: The temple is located on a small mountain in the middle of the lake. According to legend, during the feudal war between the Le and Mac dynasties, Mac generals were defeated and fled to Puong Cave, where they died in allegiance. Moved by their loyal spirit, local people built a temple to worship the Mac family. However, fearing that the Le dynasty's officials would discover and destroy it, they renamed it An Ma Temple. In the Tay language, “An Ma” means “a peaceful grave and a beautiful tomb,” referring to the resting place of the loyal Mac officials.
- Widow Island - a lovely small island located right in the center of the lake, associated with the legend of the lake's formation. The boat will slowly circle the island so that you can take photos.
11:30 Have lunch at the restaurant with Ba Be specialties.
13:00 After lunch, board the vehicle and depart for Hanoi.
19:30 Arrive in Hanoi. End of the 2025 Tet Cao Bang Tour program. Our tour guide, on behalf of the company, sends their thanks, bids you farewell, and looks forward to welcoming you on future programs.
