Tour description
Hanoi street food is at its best at night, and the best way to get between food stops is the way Hanoians usually do it—on two wheels. This tour has a difference: your drivers are Hanoi women, and the scooters are electric.
That matters. From July 2026, petrol-powered motorbikes will be banned from eleven streets in the Old Quarter on Friday evenings and weekends, and the area will be expanded further. Electric scooters are exempt from this regulation, so the tour can travel through those streets every evening of the week—while also being quieter and cleaner for everyone.
You will sit behind your driver and travel between six or seven stops: bún chả, grilled pork served with noodles that Hanoians commonly enjoy for lunch and dinner; phở cuốn, fresh rice noodle rolls from Trúc Bạch; crispy fried spring rolls; a bia hơi corner with draft beer; a sticky rice or chè stall; and an ending of egg coffee. Along the way, your guide will tell you about Hanoi cuisine, the city’s female street vendors, and how Hanoi is changing.
